I'm not into complicated trading calculations. I make one trade a day, and that suits me just fine. So, I don't really worry about commissions. But think about it - an extra $3 in commission might not sound like much, but it can add up.

Is it practical to go for ECN in my case?

For me, the higher minimum deposit of the STD account is worth it. It offers simplicity and fewer fees, aligning with my straightforward trading approach

I find the "SWAP FREE" account to be the most appealing option for position trading for, several reasons.

-Low 0.5 pip spread, minimizing position-holding costs.
-No commission fees, allowing for maximum profit retention.
-Competitive 1:1000 leverage, offering strategy flexibility.
-A 30% stop-out level, reducing the risk of early position closures.
-The "Swap Free" option is beneficial for extended holding periods.

However, it's important to consider these potential disadvantages:
-The "Swap Free" account may still have minimal swap costs.
-While the stop-out level is higher than some, it's not the most generous, possibly leading to premature closures during extreme market conditions.

I have some reservations about the "One-Account Rule" in the ZForex competition. Typically, I prefer to trade with two accounts, even in live trading. However, this rule restricts my approach during the competition. As a trader, I believe in the importance of having the flexibility to implement my hedging strategy, especially when there's an opportunity to win prizes. I believe ZForex should consider amending this rule to accommodate a broader range of trading strategies. It would be a welcome change, and I hope they address it soon

It may seem like the unpopular choice, but I opted for the STD account because I value avoiding commissions. Some traders prefer not to pay fees for each trade. If you're actively trading or have a high frequency strategy, steering clear of commissions can add up to signification savings over time. As the say, 'If it makes money, it makes cents.' For me, the STD account aligns with my trading style and wallet.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I looked at the requirements and trading conditions for both the STD and Swap Free accounts. It's a head-scratcher how someone can trade under those conditions with high minimum deposits and steeper trading fees. The spread on the STD account is 0.5 pip, while the Swap Free account offers a slightly wider spread at 0.7 pip.

What's more, the Stop Out level on the STD account is set at 30%, and it's a whopping 50% on the Swap Free account. It almost feels like zForex is nudging traders toward the ECN account, and I have to admit, they succeeded with me. I'm happily trading on the ECN account, and I don't even want to consider the other options anymore.

For me, the ECN account just makes more sense

I believe I made a practical choice with zForex's ECN option. With a modest budget, the $65 it suited me well.

What stood out were the trading conditions. The ECN account offers a low 20% stop-out level and a high 1:1000 leverage, giving me room to actually potentially grow my account.

Though it has a commission ($10 for Forex), the ECN account's 0 pip spread helps offset the cost. Comparing it to the STD (Standard) Account with a $1,000 minimum deposit, the ECN option seemed tailored to my budget and trading style.

In my experience, it's about finding the right fit. The ECN account at zForex checked all the boxes for a trader like me

zForex's transparency is a significant plus. in a world where hidden fees are common, it's nice to see that they put in everything out in the open. they event specify a 50% stop-out level on their swap-free account, which, while EXTREMELY high, leaves no room for confusion.

Personally, i prefer their ECN account; it offers a more appealing option

Honestly, trading those XAU pairs with z forex seems a bit nerve-wracking. There's a lot on the line. The smallest contract I can use is 0.10, but I was planning on going with 0.05. Plus, the spread they've got going on is a bit wider. So, I think I'll just stick with trading EURUSD. It's not only cheaper but also seems to move in sync with XAU, which gives me some hope that I can make something here.

Balanced Approach

I've tried out all the different account types at z forex, and I've come to the conclusion that the
standard account suits me best. Here's why:
**No Commission, Slightly Higher Spread: The standard account doesn't charge any
commission, which is a big advantage for me. Although the spread is a bit wider at 0.7 pips,
I'm okay with that trade-off in exchange for avoiding commission fees.
**Lower Stop Out Level: What I really like about the standard account is its lower stop out
level of 30%. This means my positions won't be closed out too quickly even if the market goes
against me. It gives me more flexibility and reduces the chance of sudden losses.
**Balanced Features: The standard account feels like a middle ground between the other
options. It doesn't have the higher commission of the ECN account or the higher spread of the
swap-free account. This balance is important because it aligns well with how I manage my
trades.
In the end, my priority is to have a lower stop out level and avoid commission charges, even if
it means dealing with slightly wider spreads. The standard account seems like the best fit for
my trading style and the level of risk I'm comfortable with. While all the accounts have their
pros and cons, the standard one feels just right for me, offering a good mix of features that
suit my needs.

I chose not to go for the swap-free account at Z forex because it was a bit pricier. The 0.7 Pips spread on Eurusd Seems okay, but they charge $10 per lot in commission just like the ECN Account makes more sense for me, It's cheaper overall and works better for my style of trading.

Trading here about 5 months, no problem for now. There is inner system with coins which can be earned if you participate in competitions and for trading. Quite useful but I would like to get those coins and use as money =)

Site is quite complicated, there isn't live chat and not so much information about coins, trading conditions

Kyc needed, it's a big con for me, nowadays there are many brokers with no kyc requirements. Here I need to upload documents.
There are also some pros like tight spreads and it's good for news trading (trading are signals on forexpeacearmy, recommend)

So overall it's a good one, recommend
