For home workouts, you can only update your weights in the Workout Preview before you start—Zing doesn’t let you change them mid-workout
Kcal burned. App should allow you to edit
Zing only gives you audio coach guidance during home workouts— add also at the gym, You’ll only see your heart rate on screen during
Zing home workouts if you’ve got an Apple Watch connected—at the gym, Zing doesn’t display your BPM in real time even if your watch is on.
A mix of time-based and rep-based sets at home would should be added. Right now, Zing only offers time-based home workouts,

I like the idea of not having to plan my workouts so I thought I would try Zing AI. For a one dollar trial I figured what the heck. I did not expect to like it this much. I have a small home gym and was able to list the equipment I have, enter my goals and desires and presto, every morning I have an easy to follow workout with excellent video demonstrations. I am impressed with the progress I have made in only a month.
I travel extensively and live the fact that whenever I travel and go to a different gym, it only takes me a few minutes to list the available equipment and my workouts are planned for me. Effortless on my part.
The biggest surprise is the AI virtual Coach. I’m amazed how realistic the Coaches are. It’s like having a conversation with a real person the one I chose has just the right amount of sarcasm to keep me laughing and has great and fast responses to my sarcasm.
I am very satisfied and will continue to use Zing. Is it perfect? No. I have noticed a few small and insignificant glitches like getting a notification of today’s workout when it is actually a programmed recovery day but the dashboard has the recovery programmed correctly. Small and insignificant. This program is well worth the money. Give it a try. You will be amazed also.

It’s a scam!!!
I registered a month ago out of curiosity but after the reviews I never follow through for a subscription.
Turns out that they somehow manage to withdraw 66,65 Euro from my credit card without permission. I try to get my money back but still haven’t heard anything from their support via mail.
Watch out people!

I purchased Zing Coach on August 1st, intrigued by its bold promises of an AI-driven, personalized fitness experience. As someone with a background in sports science, I was curious to see how well the app could tailor a program to my needs — including a shoulder injury I specifically entered during setup.
Unfortunately, the results were underwhelming from the start.
The suggested workouts were basic, repetitive, and far from innovative — certainly not “unique” or intelligently tailored. In fact, the first suggestions included shoulder shrugs and shoulder presses, despite clearly stating an existing shoulder injury. The app also ignored my preferred workout duration settings and generated sessions well over 40 minutes, which was not what I selected.
I also purchased the AI Body Scan add-on, which required uploading semi-nude photos. I didn’t even proceed with it, as I quickly realized the core offering of the app fell short.
After seeing how poor and irrelevant the workouts were, I immediately requested a refund. The chatbot informed me that while the monthly subscription might be refundable, the add-on is non-refundable, even though I haven’t used it at all. I haven’t done a single workout, haven’t downloaded anything, and haven’t opened the scan feature. Still, I was told my situation “doesn’t fall within the refund criteria.”
Frankly, this app feels like a well-polished sales pitch with very little substance behind it. The AI feels more like a buzzword than an actual intelligent system. If you’re serious about fitness, recovery, or personalization — there are far better apps out there that respect your input, adapt to your needs, and treat their users fairly without AI generated customer service responses!
Zing Coach is not it. And it doesnt matter how many more reviews they "buy" for Trustpilot to make up for the negative ones, I m sure more 1 Star will keep coming!

Sneaky Company charge $60 per month (outrageous fees) and won't refund, l explained that l was not sure how this even happened. l have not used this app, and they can see that. Their response to reviews say they are looking into it or please contact support, but it is just a front, they copy and paste templates and have no intention of refunding.

I signed up for the trial and was charged over £50 the next day. I used 2 products - the nutritional advice and AI scan and didn’t realise there were extra charges associated. After some wrangling in the chat I did get a refund. However their policy states these charges cannot be refunded. So watch out for this! I’m certain this app would be great but this was just a rip off and made me cancel right away. Such a shame.

They are constantly adding features and are extremely fast (minutes!) in responding with help and ideas and taking advice up
Their video descriptions are precise

Great progression with exercises, lots of variety and easy to set up your own workouts of your own want. Really good app.

Zing Coach advertised a 3-month trial, which sounded like a great way to test the app. But it turned out to be very misleading. After the trial, they automatically charged me for a recurring subscription without any clear notice or reminder. This feels like a trap rather than a trustworthy service. I would not recommend this app to anyone—there are better, more honest fitness apps out there.

Fraudulent company. I never knowingly signed up for it, and realized a year later they have been charging me 78 a month for the last year. They are refusing to reimburse me. THis is a scam. Be aware.

I signed up for a free 7 day trial. When signing up they try to get you to add on nutrition plans and body scanning which I declined
I’ve then had £38 taken from my account. When I complained they said it clearly shows that after the 7 days you will get charged this
Looking at reviews I’m not the only one to have experienced this. So my point is it is not very clear. They are refusing to refund me. I will be contacting my bank to attempt to get the money back

i have used this app for a few days now, i find it average so far. so i paid around £6 for a month to test it out. Accidentally clicked on the premium upgrade for nearly £39 which i dont need or use. Asked for a refund for the upgrade through email but got denied within a few minutes. The app has a feature where it keeps prompting you to upgrade , so this accident can happen with anybody. so people BEWARE of this sophisticated SCAM. they forget that this small amount they gained but the big loss they made by losing me as a customer and many more i was going to recommend it to. SHAME

I’m more than happy with my entire experience with the ZING app! I love all of the functionality, the workouts, the body scanning capabilities and my AI coach! Customer support goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers - at least in my experience. I was able to pause my subscription during a period of inactivity with no issues at all. I can’t say enough about how happy I’ve been with this app and the company that produced and manages it!

I canceled my trial and still was charged $59.99. Reached out multiple times thru email and they just kept on stalling me even after I provided proof of the charge thru google and proof of transaction. They wore giving me the run around that they couldn't find my account nor email even though that was the email I had used. Still haven't received my refund to this day.

I like the interaction with the AI coaching and the feedback.
