As others have mentioned, I paid for premium service and got very fast response and first draft a day or two later. Unfortunately that is all the good things that happened.
I should not have to point out grammatical errors to a "professional writer". The excuse that I was given is hiring managers expect and appreciate errors....not kidding. Even if the organization's stance on grammatically incorrect resumes is standard practice, the cover letter I was given is also full of errors, the responses to my emails are full of errors, I also have to point out the difference between "saved" and "secured", as well as I had to explain correct tense of verbs.
If you want a resume written by someone who speaks English as a 3rd or 4th language, this is your place.

Horrible Experience, I paid for the Premium package. I got a fast response although when I submitted my resume information and got my first draft. The resume was written for someone trying to get into sales. Which is not the direction or jobs I was applying for. I also sent the 1st draft back with notes as to different corrections and issues i saw in the resume. when they sent me the 2nd draft. None issues or concerns i brought to their attention was fixed. All they did was change a couple words around. Their response email didn't even address or talk about any of the issues i bought to their attention. A little frustrated I emailed the customer service with my issues and asking for a new writer or refund. I got no response. A couple days go by and my writer responds saying that since i didn't respond to their last email they are sending the finial resume. I then emailed customer service a 2nd time got no response. The resume is useless and I'm out $300. Don't bother with them.

Jordan was phenomenal. I highly recommend this service to anyone.
Marieta was very helpful with updating my resume and LinkedIn profile to meet the criteria needed these days. I strongly recommend her.

The resume they had done for me was horrible. First resume was lacking extensive information, grammar errors, dates and even my name. So of course, I asked for it to be fixed. Got am email back, thanking for the completion. What completion, I sent back literally 12 plus things that need to be fixed before it can be completed. Still waiting to hear back(weeks later). Cover letter excellent with minor error that was easily corrected. Don’t waste your money or time. Find a different company.

This is the closest I have felt to being internet scammed ever. I paid and sent them my resume. They didnt get back to me as explained in the work timeline, I had to prompt them for the first draft and then never heard from them again, there were many obvious corrections that I flagged and requested feedback several times both to the writer and the company. Never heard from them. Basic things like skill set column were missing entirely. 3 weeks later I managed to speak to someone in their customer service who would absolutely not only NOT help me, but even though I had email trail proof that they never responded to my multiple proding she didn't own up to absolutely anything. Money completely wasted. More important: time completely wasted and needs absolutely not met inn the least.

Apparently here is a problem with their site with ears to signing up for the service. It seems, per my bank accounts, that they do not confirm purchases at the time. He sites appears to question or eject legitimate card purchases. Be VERY wary. In my experience, I did not see any purchase confirmation. In fact the card purchase was questioned. There should have been no reason for that. I thought it was a glitch, so I used a different card. In the end, I got got no purchase confirmation, but one card wash charged for one purchase and the other card was charged twice. Again, did not receive any purchase confirmations for any transactions. Disturbing. As we all know, purchase from Amazon, get email confirmation within minutes. Same with Macy’s or anyone else. Well, not Zipjob. Apparently they are NOT up on internet ordering protocol.
I wrote a resume full of information and details. The writer took my resume and simply reformatted it to one page. The resume that was reformatted was full of errors (typos, skills I didn't have, run-ons, poor grammar). I replied to my writer about the needed fixes and NO follow-up. Completely ignored.
Additionally, I put in a coupon code to save $66.00 on the products I purchased. It calculated correctly, then went to an error page, then processed at the full price. Again, NO reply when I contacted them about that.
They will take your money. Do a quick, simple, generic resume, cover letter, and thank you and ignore you forever.

Initially our contact was good. The resume writer wrote a very generic resume and asked for a few specifics. They were provided and an edited resume was sent. I sent this out and received 0 response. To test my concern, I sent out my existing resume to 10 jobs. I sent out the zipjob resume to 10 jobs, 0 interviews from zipjob,4 from mine. I sent 3 messages to the company expressing my dissatisfaction expressing my dissatisfaction with 0 response. It's. They literally just took my money and never contacted me. It is a complete scam.

Hear me out. I sent over my existing resume and answered all of the questions in the questionnaire, plus attached job profiles that I am targetting. Linda P simply copied over the old content from my existing resume to a resume in a new format. Just like Kate has mentioned in a one-star review below, how is this different from what anyone else can do - copy and paste? I sent over step-by-step instructions on what needs to change via email, and 90% of that was ignored. I received a new resume with 10% changes. I even highlighted the errors in red which Linda missed. I sent the errors again and highlighted them again, and Linda missed them again. All this while Linda took 6 days to come back to me with a new resume. How is this a professional service? I feel as though I am doing a lot more work than the resume writers. I feel these writers have other full-time jobs and they do this as a side hustle. ATS results showed my resume was still pointing to my old resume. And FYI, I paid a premium instead of the launch ($160 more) to have meager work done. This was supposed to get me a more senior staff. The business model is terrible and if a resume writer cant gets my instructions and errors handled in the first place, I would at least expect them to get corrected during the second attempt. It's my third attempt at revisions and my resume still looks nowhere close to acceptable. One last thing, nowhere on zip job is instructions that say this entire process is done while having communication with the resume writer over email - no phone call whatsoever. You will need to pay a premium over a premium. There are no instructions that say you will have 7 days for your revision. This is a poor resume writing service. -Vasanth
Update: I am in touch with the service desk. I will post a new review based on how well they follow up with my concerns.

I was very impressed by the quick turnaround and the professional manner in helping me update and rewrite my resume.
I retained Zipjob for $799 to create a director/ VP level resume, after a 45 minute initial conversation and plethora of supporting documents for the writer to use, the first draft I was provided was terrible. The layout, experience content, vocabulary, and length were lackluster and far inferior to the product that is expected at the Director/ VP level. The layout was a generic layout pulled from Microsoft Word and the content was just filled with buzz words without information to support those buzz words. The cover letter was even worse, far too generic and didn't even remotely outline why I would be a quality candidate.
I sent several emails to the company expressing my discontent and my request for a refund was sent for "Review." That review came back and I was told that they have a final sale policy and that they would not be providing a refund. I spoke with an individual in their customer service department and I was told that the review was final, and that no one in the organization could override that. I was also told that I could not speak with anyone on the internal review team to discuss why my refund was denied, or plead my case as to why I wanted a refund.
Zipjob does not value their customers and certainly does not do the right thing when handling unsatisfied customers.
DO NOT USE ZIPJOB unless it is for an entry level position.

Nothing but a bunch of thieves/crooks. resume better than that which I had never materialized. Materials for use on LinkedIn were not delivered. Writer never called once by phone for anything, and company simply closed out order as if accepted and completed when the task at hand was nowhere near complete

The products that ZipJob provides are second to none. The writer contacting you is a whole other story. I never once received any follow up or feedback from my writer, I always had to call the customer service phone line to see what the progress of my order was. Going forward ZipJob needs to provide service after the sale and keep your customers posted on the status of the package that they purchased.
I was very excited to get a new resume written. They had me upload my old resume and answer a few questions. In my summary I informed them that my old resume was TERRIBLE as it had been written by another company that butchered it. When I got my first draft a day later, not only was everything basically copy and pasted despite my statement, the writer informed me that we had a remaining six days to work together. I marked up the resume and highlighted areas that didn't make sense. He said he directly got it from a job post I submitted. I can copy and paste too!! Also, not every job post has been grammatically edited. Then I was met with quite an alarming attitude where my resume writer, Nathan, berated me about how he pulled right from my submitted resume and job submittals. If I liked my current resume and it was awesome, why the hell would I change and submit it? I have now sent three emails to the main email address asking for the policy where it says I have one week to work with them. Also, I was sent two paragraphs and some information on how to do my LinkedIn. UM, I paid you to do my LinkedIn, I can google information on how to do it. If I was skilled at resume writing and LinkedIn, I would do it myself. I was hoping from some creativity with my resume and have a writer who is friendly and actually likes their job and is wanting to make their people stand out. I am SO disappointed and in reality I do NOT get unlimited revision, my resume is going to be half done and my LinkedIn isn't going to be done at all before the end of the day which is my final day working with my writer. Good luck getting a new job with this. I should have read the reviews. This meant a lot to me, and I had to work really hard to come up with the money to get it done. Now I am devastated with a resume that is terrible and writer who is detached, rude, and unskilled.
