We went to Zizzi in Regent Street

We went to Zizzi in Regent Street. Cambridge yesterday 19th March.
Having been there a few times before we expected to enjoy our lunch. This time it was dreadful - actually inedible & today I've had awful stomach problems!! The waitress was excellent but the food experience was dreadful. The main course was cold, tasteless - hard pasta & bland. In fact my dish had no chicken in at all & the prosciutto was a very thin & small placed on top of the dish. It is unlikely we will return & will not recommended it to anyone. Very overpriced & disgusting!! Our of 10 i would give it minus 1!!!

I absolutely hate the concept of fraudulent tipping charges without telling the customer. A so-called "optional 10% team tip is automatically added to your bill". Of course written in very small letters and not actively communicated to the customer. Used to go there often - never again. Peter from Copenhagen.

Pendalina is a star

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The BEST service I’ve ever had at Zizzi Liverpool!

I have to give a huge shoutout to Pandelina, who has genuinely been one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered anywhere.

From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely welcome and comfortable. As a gay man, feeling included and seen isn’t something I take for granted, but with her, it was effortless. Her kindness, warmth and genuinely inclusive attitude created such a positive experience that I immediately felt at ease.

Her customer service was outstanding. She had amazing chat, was upbeat, friendly and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Everything was so smooth and efficient, and she made the whole experience feel easy, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable.

Staff like Pandelina are rare. She represents Zizzi Liverpool in the best possible way, and I truly believe she deserves recognition; if not a promotion, then at the very least a big thank you from management. She elevates the entire atmosphere of the restaurant and turns a simple meal into something memorable.

Thank you, Pandelina. You absolutely made my day. Zizzi Liverpool are lucky to have you!

Beautiful food. Let down with serious drinks issue

The food was amazing full credit to the chefs Really enjoyed all courses . We all had different dishes and were really tasty . However when we ordered drinks two of our group asked for alcohol free lager ( both placed their orders separately too )and only drinking half way through it was realised they had actually been given alcoholic drinks ! This was so annoying. We received an apology and discount but the excuse of it being busy and the fact it was hard to hear properly when we were “ having a laugh “ during ordering was a poor excuse. This was a serious mistake and should never have happened.

Lovely Mother’s Day trip to Zizi’s in…

Lovely Mother’s Day trip to Zizi’s in Bridgend today.
The 3 course menu was excellent, a surprising array of dishes on offer. The food was great and the portions big enough for even my son!
Lovely staff, we felt very welcome. We’ll definitely go back!

7/8 food items presented to the table, had to wait 10 minutes extra for the 8th due to order not being taken accurately being missed off completely, was given a half harted appology was asked what I'd ordered not sure if I was heard correctly as he was walking away while I stated what I'd ordered, not only was i left in an awkward position without food while colleagues ate but it's bad customer service

Food came but appeared to be incorrect, food was challenged but was told it was the right one, Calzone La Bomba, however this was undercooked,

And given im working away this has effected my day as the food provided has given me food poisoning and have had sickness and diarrhoea throughout the morning effecting my work

Best not to go!!…

We booked a table with our grandchildren, after the panto, in Cambridge, as part of a Christmas treat. They hadn't noted our booking, but found a table for us. The food was awful, 2 meals sent back, one meal we had to chase up several times. The toilets were absolutely disgusting. We went here, as it looked good, never again for all of us, I'm afraid. 14/12/24 was our visit.

Understaffed.

No complaints about the food but Zizzi Cambridge yesterday was woefully understaffed and a little chaotic. We ordered a coke with our round but it didn’t appear, we asked for it a further two times to no avail, eventually we went and fetched it ourselves. When the food arrived one meal was missing, it didn’t arrive until everyone else had finished. Felt sorry for the staff, just don’t cut it short, experiences like this mean customers don’t return.

Good dinner

Yesterday we had dinner in Zizi, windsor, before going to the Theatre Royal. The food was good, well presented and very tasty. A delightful atmosphere, good service, and close to the Theatre.

Not Worth the Money Anymore

It's starting to grate me just how bad Zizi's service has become. In all 3 of our last visits, we had either a dish that required sending back or an issue with service overall. Their value for money simply doesn't hold up any more, which is a shame.

crap

another nightmare
had main meal and ordered a sweet but after circa 30 mins nothing appeared
when chased i was told uber stuff takes priority so would have to wait.
so paid and left and won't be going there again
it's about time that Trust pilot offered a no star choice

Zizi is not what it used to be..

Hi, so we went to Zizi in Newport Friars Walk on Sunday 28th April.
We've been going to various zizi venues over the years and always enjoyed both the service and food quality. However, on this day things did not go so well.
1. We waited 58mts for our main meals.
2. When main meals did arrive they were cold.
3. Also the serving of the mains was staggered, i.e. not all arriving together. We actually had to call the waitress (a person called Alex) over to enquire about the last dish.
4. The waitress was less than sympathetic and said that we shouldn't complain because one of our party had a starter, not realsing that meant the other people still had to wait 58mts for their food.
5. Not once were we asked if all is ok, I think they realised they had dropped the ball and wanted to leave well alone; this just made things worse.
The main problem appeared to be the number of home deliveries.
At one time there were 5 delivery guys waiting to collect orders.
The staff all seemed to be working hard to get those orders out with the inevitable consequence that people in the restaurant suffered.
The solution is obvious, more staff. Some to concentrate on the delivery collection and others to look after those in the restaurant.
Also,there was just one person cooking.
Like I said we have been visiting zizi venues over a decade but latety it seems to be heading the way of all other business where profit is king; surely they must realise this is a short term strategy and ultimately their clients will simply go somewhere else.
Just want people to know that what companies say and do are sometimes different things.

Zizzi home delivery disaster

We ordered some pasta and pizza home delivery last night from Zizzi in Sutton
- the food arrived within the time slot but the pizza was cold, not warm COLD - pasta was luke warm. We asked the Deliveroo driver, and his response was “I don’t speak English” - I tried calling Zizi’s 3 times but there was no reply, all calls timed out and hung up - I certainly will NEVER use them again - a very bad and expensive experience - it seems clear that Zizi don’t care about their customers
