Lovely restaurant, food was good. There were 12 of us dining to celebrate a birthday. We were seated at 2 tables of 6 which we pushed together. 2 of us had blue light cards and 1 had a student discoun... See more

Zizi - Not So Good
Starter was very nice, we had calamari. Unfortunately the main meal was received and we both was plated microwave food which was not worth the money.
Lovely people but think about the time you eat, we ate at 16:00 due to business needs. I don’t think we will be going back.

I love Zizzi I went here for my birthday and the food is fantastic if you gluten-free or not they have plenty of food for everyone there kindness is impeccable and In my opinion I love the pizzas I would recommend this place if you love Italian food
Very mediocre
Went for a meal on a Friday night. Firstly the no cash sign at the door was disappointing.
The place was fairly empty and we were sat in a corner which was fine.
I ordered a mocktail and it was small but refreshing. My friend ordered a wine which arrived warm and she requested ice and mentioned wine was warm, no apology offered, ice eventually brought over.
Ordered our mains and they arrived promptly.
Wasn't impressed at all with the food, I had the risotto and it was very stodgy and covered in cheese, half the amount would have been too much. Garlic bread was over cooked.
Friend had lasagne which she said was fine.
On a positive we loved the bubble style cups the coffee came in.
Overall not the best experience and I don't plan on returning.
Waited longer than expected for order…
Waited longer than expected for order to be taken and had to approach staff to ask for service. Food was completely tasteless.
Zizzi’s Cardiff Bay
We had a large booking (20+) for a big celebration . The manager, Ali, who we were in contact with leading up to the event was friendly and helpful ( with our ever changing numbers and selections 😂) The staff on the night were Amazing-even with the global IT issues it did not stop them from fulfilling our large preorder. Food arrived timely and was absolutely stunning and piping hot ( Sharing platter to start and (cassereccia pollo pacante 👌💕)
Nothing was too much trouble.
The restaurants open kitchen and friendly chef made it feel like they were catering just for us. A*+

As an Italian I'm disappointed with the pizza ordered tonight via Uber. ate a little and threw it away. change jobs, you're not good at having a chain of restaurants. but how do you call what you prepare pizza? I won't add anything more.
Absolute shocking
Absolute shocking. Calzone was a thick pastry pizza pie. The lasagne was flat and not a good taste. The frozen section does not give Zizzi any justice whatsoever. Very disappointing and I believed you could not get a lasagne wrong. Zizzi yes you can. Will not be buying again. Blah.
Great staff, extremely poor food
While the staff at the Port Solent branch were very good, the food was extremely poor. The carbonara had no taste to it whatsoever and the pizza may have well been flatted by a car tyre, again with very little flavour to it. Full marks for making food taste of nothing and charging a lot of good money for the privilege. Also disappointed to see you don't accept your own vouchers from your app at this branch, even though you promote the app everywhere inside the restaurant - which I find very misleading. Too many bad experiences at a Zizzi now so won't be visiting one again.
Frozen pizza might as well of been just…
Frozen pizza might as well of been just a base with tomato and a teaspoon of cheese then thrown at a wall, Where's the jackfruit pepperoni? I don't call four pieces sufficient and one and a half tiny cherry tomatoes, absolutely down the pan standards wise and the customer service email doesn't work, I won't be buying anything Zizzi again I'll stick with Chicago Town, they resolve issues.

great food thankyou Savannah for great service xx
Useless Loyalty app
Food is ok, very pricey though. Their loyalty app zizzi zillinaire is useless, the points do not get added and visits do not get recorded most of the time so you miss out on your perkz so no point using it!
Overpriced, teeny portions
Visited Trafford Zizzi today, first and last time. Food portions are miniscule, just to remind them they are feeding humans not barbie dolls and action man, my sons pizza was so thin the toppings dropped off when he picked up a slice. The espresso brownie was ok but again miniscule in size. Food ok, portions tiny, way overpriced for what you get. Wont be returning.
Amazing food but…
Amazing food. Service was really good and very polite and friendly but they started cleaning and hoovering before we finished our meal, the hoover was so loud we had to ask them to stop, they agreed but said only for 20 minutes as the restaurant closes in 40 minutes.
It’s a shame such a beautiful meal was ruined by loud hoovering.
Where’s the rest of the food?
I’ve visited the Zizzi at the Trafford Centre a few times now and it seems to suffer from reoccurring problems. However, today’s visit was comfortably the worst experience. Whenever I eat there, I think the food is expensive, the portions are small and the food is often served cold. Credit to them, the food arrived quickly today, but still cold…? The service was not very pleasant, but not rude either. I ordered one of the bolognese ‘loaded’ fries and was shocked by how small the portion was. And loaded they were not. There is another Italian restaurant that’s opened at Trafford Centre since I last visited and I noticed it on the way out. I will definitely be going there next time I fancy an Italian meal. Zizzi is only really a good option if you have a voucher. Even today with a free birthday main, it was £30 for two people to eat a main each and the disappointing fries, plus soft drinks. The rustica pizzas are thinner and crispier, but the amount of toppings is poor. It just feels like they are trying to cut back at all times. When I eat out, I want to leave feeling satisfied and I never do here.

Can’t fault the staff food was lovely but what I’m incredibly frustrated at and highly disappointed was being emailed I would get a free main course as it’s my birthday so booked the place for my friend to treat me with that in mind for us to be unable to use the voucher as I could not login at all as the site was glitchy and refusing my password then not allowing me to reset it - it was embarrassing and really put a downer on the event.
My friend was decent and paid but I feel awful the staff obviously couldn’t do anything!
First time experience …
I had never been here before and was welcomed by the staff with a homely smile, the staff were so polite and even helped me and my partner order as we are picky eaters but overall there customer services was amazing and the food was even better I would definitely recommend them 110%.
Fantastic evening
Went to Zizzi Canary Wharf and had a Fantastic evening, food was perfect ,waiter service was fantastic and great value for money and the staff were very helpful deducting our voucher. We will definitely be back and a big thankyou to all the staff.
Lovely food just awful customer…
Lovely food just awful customer service. Rude staff and not willing to help. We had a blue light discount, there was 7 of us but blue only discounted for 6. Wouldn't offer a discount on the 6 customers and refused to apply discount at all. When asked manager of Coventry branch was rude, abrupt and just didn't care.
Sevenoaks restaurant
Sevenoaks restaurant. It’s Food okay but poor value. Even though I thought expensive for what we had it didn’t help that we had to get the waiters attention for further drinks, the desert menu and the bill. Not attentive enough. The toilets were disgusting too, no effort to clean them.
DON'T TAKE CASH
Haven't been to Zizzi for years. Sadly my Pizza wasn't as nice as it used to be, and it was massive. Too big almost to manage (oval), but it was enjoyable!
However my main disappointment is that when the bill came they refused to take cash. What a disappointment. Zizzi, have you read George Orwell's book 1984? We are becoming a cashless society and it is scary. I am angry I didn't have the freedom of choice to pay cash. That has been taken away from me. By being forced to used a Credit/Debit card, we leave a trail of where we've been and what we've spent without the freedom to choose. Sadly, I won't be going there again, unless Zizzi, you change your policy.
