DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Total scam! On their site you think that you are buying a hardcopy but it's just a download even though they ask for your address! They refuse to refund and nowhere on their site does it state that it's only a download which doesn't seem to work.

I ordered what I thought was a hardcover cookbook from this website. When I reached out to checkin on shipping information, I was informed that the item was a digital download instead of the hardcover book that was advertised. When I reached out to rectify the problem, they refused a refund and said I was basically out of luck. This company does shady business and steals your money. Do not purchase here.

Ordered a book but it was a pdf. Same story as many others here. No mention it's a pdf on the listing and customer service was generic no.

ONLY because there is no other way to participate in the review process I CLICK one star. If indeed there were a skull and crossbones choice this would be it!
I included a screenshot of the website in my complaint letter and received similar answers. This is likely a BAIT and SWITCH site. Will follow up with a complaint to PayPal and PUBLISHER.
Ordered 2 copies to be sent to two different addresses with no receipt or follow up. Sent inquiry and received the message that this was an audio type book which the site clearly DID NOT say. instead it reads, POLITICAL SCIENCE: HARDCOVER 512 pages... original order 2/3/24 complaint filed 3/17. another name connected to this site is Luissample1

My "ebook" was not readable for me. The book’s font is so small that I can't read it comfortably, and I found no way to bookmark pages. What a mistake I made in ordering this! 1 star is for the speed of delivery only.

Fraudulent company. Advertised as a hard copy book, with free shipping. I even entered my address etc to have the book shipped to
My home. I paid $12.90 and never received the book, instead an ebook. They refused to refund my money. When I reached out, they refused to refund my money with generic emails stating all sales are final.

Sleezebag operation with fraudulent business model, trusting that many people will not research them in advance of placing an order, and that customers will not pursue legal recourse for $12.90. They deserve a class action suit for deceptive and fraudulent business activities. Do pass your experience on to the Indiana Attorney General’s fraud division.

i have had the same experience as everyone else who has written a review. I called their 1-402-935-7733 number and I was connected to a Paypal office. I then called a Princeton Indiana number 1-317-349-7662 and a voice message directed me back to their website. I filled a form informing them that I had never received the two books that I had ordered and never got a reply. I went back to their website and noticed two download links, one for each book. Clicking on the links I downloaded each book in digital form. I then filled out a form telling them that I had never received hard copies of the books which I ordered on Jan. 21, 2024 and nowhere on their site did it indicate that the books were eBooks only. Considering that one book was over 300 pages and the other over 400 pages, I told them that sitting at a laptop to read these books was not practicable and requested that they either send hard copies or credit the cost back to my VISA card. I then called New York number, (219-200-2856) and again got a voice message redirecting me back to their website. I thank Trustpilot for posting these reviews. I will attempt to call my VISA card company and Paypal and asked if there is anyway that they can flag any future purchases from this website.

Many of you lament below not having read the reviews of this company before making your purchase. I fell into the same trap but luckily paid with a credit card, kept my correspondence with zogomom, and went through the simple process of filing a dispute with my credit card company. Ultimately, I got my money back. I encourage all of you who have been tricked into purchasing an ebook to do the same, if possible. Further, you can report this piracy by contacting the publisher for a link for that purpose. It's a quick form to fill out, and you'll be doing good.

I was about to order, but decided to check out Reviews of ZOGOMOM first. The prices are way below other book discount businesses. So much so, it seemed to good to be true…plus offering free shipping…
I have had more than one business selling books. The prices listed on their website is too good to be true…

Ordered a hardcover book from them, but never received any tracking information or the book. Contacted them twice through the website's "Contact Us" section with no reply. I also tried calling their phone number but only got a recording saying they don't take calls only messages through their site. Not sure if this is a scam, but I definitely would NOT recommend using this company.

Ad was misleading, did not state item was an ebook. Refused refund. Seems they do this often judging from the many negative reviews.

I would give one star if I could. Total scam. I thought I purchased a paperback book but they sent me a link for a download version. I used PayPal and filed a claim! ripoffmom aka zogomom will not give me my money back. It was not a lot of money, but it is the principle of the matter and I am angry that they misrepresented the item. Do NOT EVER BUY from this site.

Zogomom is a complete scam....read any of the other reviews, and I totally agree. I will try to get a refund from my credit card company.

I didn't recieve the book I ordered. No response.

I should have read the reviews on this website but had only checked to see if it was legitimate. I too had purchased a digital book unknowingly. I had read free shipping and no where on what I had chosen said it was a digital book. I contacted Customer Service to check on the status of my purchase because the website said shipping would be send within 48 hours. I received a response that I had purchased a digital book. I asked for a refund or merchandise credit to be applied since there was no indication on the purchase it was a digital book. I have heard crickets.... do not use this website

The offer of a great book at terrific price with no shipping charge was almost too good to be true. I should have remembered that if it sounds too good, it probably isn't.
Well, Zogomom's wording was carefully sort of true, but misleading. The book sent was a link for a download of an electronic version not a printed one.
Contacted about the misrepresentation, there was no remorse or apology, just an "all sales are final" stock reply.
If you know this and want their item, that's your choice. But be aware and beware otherwise.

They deserve no stars but I couldn't proceed with a review until I selected at least one. My complaint is the same as below...false advertising. The book I wanted was shown on their website as hard copy but I received a PDF download. I immediately sent an email complaint to Zogomom.com that I had not ordered a downloaded book but a hard cover and requested a refund. I received a reply and was told that there was a no refund policy. My response to them was that the item I ordered had been falsely advertised and I wanted a refund. I subsequently received an email requesting order details, etc. and was told that a refund would be issued. That didn't happen. I contacted PayPal and was informed that the vendor would have to issue a refund. And if that wasn't done, I could open a dispute with PayPal. Do NOT...REPEAT do NOT order anything from Zogomom.com. It is a SCAM!!!
