I've been working here as a freelance translator since 2023. I've translated projects for HBO and MAX. The deadlines are always so short. I've worked day and night like a dog to meet those impossible deadlines. But when it's their turn to pay, it always delays for more than 3 months. Every single time. I've decided not to work for them anymore. My current pending payment is $2400. I've completed those projects between Sep-Oct 2025.

Not speaking about project managers that are nice and professional.
Do not pay translators, do not care about late fees, and especially do not care about legal procedures. For more than 2 years now have not paid a single invoice on time and without several warning messages. They owe me 1000$ at least in late payment fees and have no concern at all for the lifes of their freelancers. The shame is that the work is interesting and their project managers absolutely lovely.

Good Experience Turned Sour Due to Unpaid Invoices
I have been collaborating with ZOO Digital as a freelance subtitler and translator for 4 years and had a positive experience overall. However, in recent months, their payment reliability has significantly declined.
The invoice I submitted on August 6 remains unpaid as of November 2025, despite repeated attempts to contact the company for clarification. It’s disappointing to see such delays from a company that previously maintained professionalism and transparency.
