Extremely high cost as middle man

I got a receipt for almost 600 euros, even though the painter I booked said he charged 400. After checkings, seems like Zoofy takes about 30% margin on the work itself, and adding to that another 30-40 euros per work called "service cost". Next time I will skip this expensive middle man completely, this is unacceptable.

Good service. Payment issue solved

Requested a service via Zoofy. Professional did the job as expected. I had some trouble with the professional about the payment. Contacted Zoofy and they eventually resolved the issue satisfactorily. Highly recommend the service

Handyman didn't showed up, I was charged cancellation fees

The handyman informed us by the end of the day he wouldn't attend to his appointment. I had to look for a different service provider.

A month later, they invoiced me around 50 euros for a cancellation fee, even though the appointment didn't go through because of their handyman missing his appointment.

Reaching out to their customer service is terribly convoluted.
Completely unprofessional.

I was robbed €120 which Zoofy helped to facilitate and are unwilling to help resolve.

First and last time using Zoofy!

The radiator in our bedroom is broken and we hired a plumber via Zoofy. Despite being very explicit on the issue and what needed replaced (the footvalve), the plumber arrived empty handed. He hit the radiator pipe a few times with his spanner, told me to turn up the heat and turn off all the other radiators. If the issue continued he would come back. The man charged me €120 for zero work and 10 minutes of his time. When I challenged him on the price, he said Zoofy takes 50% of this.

Unsurprisingly the issue is persistent as I still need the foot valve replaced. However he has refused to come back. I made a complaint to Zoofy but they have been completely unresponsive for the past week.

We have a 4 month old daughter and I had to buy an electric heater for the cold nights as a result. To steal from someone is one thing. But to do it knowing that there’s a young baby involved says a lot about these people.

Did not solve issue hired for and no customer service response

I hired and paid extra for a same day unclogging service for my bathroom pipes. A plumber did accept the job quickly and came to my house later that day. Unfortunately he was not able to find the source of the blockage or fix the problem. I was still charged the 200euro fee (including guaranty).
I contacted the website the same evening to advise of the issues. I received no response. I advised of the urgency of the issue and that was in part why I was willing to pay extra for same day service but this did not provide any further response.
After three days I had to hire another service provider who came out and resolved the issue within 2 hours.
I have contacted Zoofy again to request ANY kind of response and now at this stage, a refund for the service I was not provided with. I am not optimistic about receiving a response.

Lost my money: Never Zoofy again

Zoofy is a platform but seems not to check the quality of the craftsmen/women. A terrible job was delivered and the only thing Zoofy did was send incasso's and more incasso's. I had explicitly ordered and paid for a garanty, but not even that did I get. Zoofy is the worst platform I ever met.

Scamming cancellation fee

The website first asked for my availability by choosing a few dates/timeslots for an appointment and wait for their response. I thought they would tell me which time works for the repairman and then they would ask me to confirm. However once they found a repairman for the next morning they immediately confirmed the appointment without my input! It turned out the timeslot they asked me to choose at the beginning is not actually my availability but the time during which the worker will arrive, so the actual appointment could end much later, and I'm not available the whole day. So I cancelled the appointment and immediately received a bill of 25 euros! They said the fee is because I cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointment, even though I never confirmed the appointment. What a scam.

no after-care & customer Service

I hired a professional through Zoofy to install a new sanitary setup, but the experience has been extremely disappointing. The installation was mishandled, resulting in damage to both the sanitary unit and my wall, plus a leaking sink. Despite my efforts to reach Zoofy to resolve this, their response process has only added to the frustration.

Zoofy offers no direct support line—only a chatbot with a 48-hour email response time. I initially provided detailed information, but instead of actionable follow-up, I was advised to reach out to the professional again, whom I’ve already tried working with to no avail. I can only follow-up with chatbot as a response. and in my second attempt, they request more details about this.
After two weeks, I’m still left with a leaking and damaged setup, waiting again for Zoofy to respond.

This experience shows a lack of support and accountability from the app. I would not recommend it to others.

For those interested in the original complaint details, see below:
We hired a professional through Zoofy to replace our existing sanitary setup. The appointment was confirmed for Wednesday between 9:00 and 11:00 AM, but the professional arrived at 11:30 AM.

Our expectations were clear: remove the old sanitary, install the new one, and mount it on the wall. However, several issues arose during the 3.5 hours he was here:

The new sanitary was damaged during assembly, causing the bottom drawer to malfunction.
He initially mounted the sanitary too high. Due to a misaligned siphon, he had to lower it and create an additional hole in the wall.
The incorrect placement required an extra part for the pipes, which now prevents the upper drawer from closing properly.
Lastly, the siphon is leaking. Despite the professional returning for an additional 30 minutes to address this, the leak persists.
We specifically hired a professional to avoid these kinds of problems. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund. I will find another professional to rectify the situation.

Update: this comment was written on 1st November. Today as of 2nd december - still no progress….

Total scam, was charged for a job not done

Total scam. I booked a job for an indoor folding door and a ''handyman'' accepted the job. The guy had the skills of a 3rd grader and only sent a doodle he did on this phone as a ''solution suggestion'' and tried to charge me 90 euros for it. He didn't even visited my apartment at the scheduled time.
I reported this to Zoofy and their response was, ''this is within their guidelines and I should pay the bill''. Thank God I have legal insurance, so now they will have to sue me to get this. But I would stay away from this company.

Unprofessional Service and Outrageous Charges

I had a frustrating experience with Zoofy and the technician assigned to fix my thermostat. Initially, the technician missed the first appointment and showed up 4 hours late for the second one. He seemed confident in diagnosing the issue via text, but his diagnosis turned out to be incorrect. He struggled to resolve the problem, ultimately installing the thermostat in the wrong location without fully configuring it. I ended up having to finish the setup myself.

After all this, I was shocked to receive an outrageously high final invoice, especially considering the incomplete and subpar service I received. It honestly feels like I'm being swindled, as the technician appears to set his rates arbitrarily, without delivering adequate service.

I cannot recommend Zoofy based on this experience, and I urge others to think twice before using their services.

Making income out of forced cancellations

They rip off customers. I tried to book a job to which they responded that they couldn't find a professional. Hence, I moved on with my life. Later on last minute they sent a mail (which ended up in the spam folder) saying that eventually they managed to find a professional. I couldn't cancel the job on time as the only confirmation shared with me was a spam-alike mail, which I didn't see immediately, and even though I read it that day, it was already too late to cancel. It feels like they do this on purpose so that they can create income on cancellation costs.

Be careful

Be careful ! Do not make business with these people.
I agreed on a price per hour, per person. After not much more than one hour they stopped working, they left for a break, they came back over an hour later and they charged me for the whole time. Instead of 5hrs job they first tried to charge me 12 hrs! No one answers the phone at Zoofy, so after long discussion I had to agree on pay 8hrs or else they would not leave.

I sent a complaint to the company, and after almost three weeks of waiting, they insisted the worker was right. I sent proof of times and they still rejected my request.
As if this was not enough, three weeks later, all of the sudden, they charged me 35€ extra for removing the waste, while not only this was never discussed, they didn't remove the waste, I had to do it myself, I sent photos proving this, and they just ignored me and still charged it.

Would not recommend at all.

I was matched with an "expert" for a job, texted with him after the match to make sure he was communicative, and even got confirmation the day before the appointment that he'd be arriving on time.

The day of the appointment the expert never showed up, and didn't respond to messages or phone calls. I reached out to customer support who were also unable to contact him.

They offered to make a new appointment for me, with no guarantee of finding someone for the same day despite the job being time sensitive. Their "compensation" was to not charge me their 25 euro service fee for the new appointment.

To me this "compensation" is a joke, considering I wasted a day dealing with the results of the no show. My request for a reduced rate for the new appointment was refused, so I chose to find someone to get the job done elsewhere.

Quite an amateur way of running a company, especially given that you are assigned an expert automatically and have no say in the process.

Stay away.
