I was hoping I could use it to cover the medical bills of when I took Bora (my cat) to the vet last Monday but then it came that the insurance would only start working until Dec 15th. It feels like a bait if you don't say out front when the insurance will start working, now I've an insane bill to cover (she caught a respiratory infection that thank god she is 90% out of it) _AND_ also covering the insurance.

Hi, Pablo. We do have a 14-day waiting period that begins on the first effective date of coverage. Any condition that happens during this 14-day waiting period would be considered pre-existing and not eligible for coverage unless your pet’s condition has been cured and free from treatment and symptoms for a period of 180 days.
