Worked out OK.

I purchased a Bird Box camera from this site. It arrived today. Excitedly, I tried to set up the mobile app to test the camera.

My excitement turned to frustration over the next few hours as email verification codes never arrived, and I still haven't been able to use the app.

I tried to connect the camera directly to my NAS, but the camera seems to be assigned a static IP instead of DHCP and that IP is not valid on my network. Thus, I can't connect it to NAS yet..... it's all a bit amateurish and clunky.

So far it hasn't worked at all for me. I see it has been sending data out to the internet for the past few hours so maybe it is streaming images to the cloud server... but I can't access them yet.

Maybe things will improve (and if they do I'll update the review) but I won't get these few hours back.

UPDATE - the camera is working well now. Tech support got me into the mobile app. The camera did eventually pick up a local IP. Image quality is quite good and streaming/recording to my NAS.
