"Pre existing conditions"
Spot pet insurance won't cover emergency visits because they're "pre-existing conditions". If my dog eats some garbage then needs her stomach pumped, this won't be covered if it happens more once within 6 months. This is insane and a complete waste of my money, the coverage is underwhelming even for the most basic of plans. Don't buy Spot pet insurance

Hi Joey, we understand the frustration when claims are denied. We do our best to be transparent regarding our Pre- existing conditions policy. Much like other providers, our plans don’t cover conditions showing signs before your coverage starts, as documented by your vet.
