We got Trupanion for our English Bulldog 6 years ago. Trupanion has been THE best!! I had never had pet insurance before, so didn’t even really think we would need it, but thank God we got it and they made all the difference in caring for our pet and being able to give him the best. We could’ve never ever afforded the treatments we were able to get for him for his allergies and his breathing and his skin, etc.. we never had any issues getting reimbursed and they made it very simple!! BUT the absolute number one thing they did was they were so amazing when our dog was dying. they were available 24/7 to answer questions about what was covered in our policy and that made it possible for us to take our dog to an emergency vet and get him the comfort care he needed without worrying that we would be thousands of dollars in debt and having to make that decision. Let me tell you it’s way harder than you could ever imagine to make that decision!! The customer care people were so kind and gentle and AMAZING!! We highly recommend Trupanion.
