Honestly I didn't think vinted was going to be that great but I love it I've been able to get anything ive needed from vinted, like once my child needed a hatsune miku costume for a talent competition they normally cost about 80 quid new I didn't care if it was top quality brand new but there happened to be one for about a tenner that was just missing the wig which someone else was selling for a few quid. Generally i don't tend to spend a lot on vinted items so if theyre not that great which only happened twice (once someone advertised one size wings only showed a cropped photo of the flowers in the middle but the one size was baby sized and they go one wrists instead of back so it was unuseable) I can shrug it off. Only time I spent more was when I took a chance on a dress for a ball haggled it down from 50 to 40 which is another useful tool and it ended up being perfect on me, a bit long but im planning to get it adjusted and possibly see if i can put pockets in while im there. Vinted would only be better if they introduced free postage because I think a lot of sellers think theyre giving items away when theyre selling them for the minimum 1.00 price but vinted add buyers security fee and postage on top so it ends up being closer to 4 quid so if it arrives and its stinky and nasty it doesnt feel like a bargain because we paid more than the seller got for it and the seller thinks we're ungrateful when we criticise- that seller gave me a bad review cussing me out even though I only gave a 4 star review saying it was nice but a bit smelly and I reported the situation to vinted who found in my favour but didn't remove the persons malicious retaliation review. I can understand that the seller was upset if they were unaware of the other fees but it was an overreaction which has stained my profile forever. I'm quite good at buying though so I generally check reviews of sellers and communicate with sellers to check the small details before purchase so despite ordering many items ive just had those two hiccups. would recommend only paying for items you can see though nothing like perfume. Good thing about vinted is its not like shopping online you see real photos of the item not just stock photos which could turn out to be something different quality which you find online sometimes
