My first experience with Hyundai Birmingham West
My first experience with Hyundai Birmingham West after servicing my car was extremely disappointing -
The courtesy car was filthy (dust, sweets in seats, old tissues/rags in pockets, dirty carpets), not washed and parked off-site with no guidance.
My own car wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed after service - I was told there was no access to these basic facilities. I asked, “What, a vacuum cleaner?”
Staff offered no guidance or help, including operating the electric Ioniq courtesy car - I had to figure it out myself.
They tried to upsell me an air-con filter for my 12-month-old car as part of the service. I was told by Motor Mobility that a one-year-old car didn’t need one, I refused it.
No communication when my car was ready - only a single text, no phone call.
Looking at other reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern - 71% of customers report poor service. Very unprofessional for a main Hyundai dealer.
