Miss leading information!!

Miss leading information!!!
I started to choose an insurance at Genki for the period 26-08-25 until 27-09-25. This is the period we are on Holiday. 26-09-25 we are back in home country.

However I got charge for a new insurance period from 28-09-25 until 27-10-25.
€162.30

I DID NOT CHOOSE THIS INSURANCE!
I DID NOT CHOOSE THE PERIOD
28-09-25 until 27-10-25

Via online chat service Genki informed me to cancel subscriptions.

I cancelled subscription and cancellation starts from 29-09-25 . Genki refund not all amount of money back! I will pay 28-09-25 an insurance I did not choose for!
This is misleading and it’s scamming.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Genki Traveler is set up for a maximum term of 12 months, with automatic monthly payments (like other online subscriptions).

As soon as your coverage starts, you can request the cancellation of your insurance on a future date, but it can only take effect after the first monthly cycle ends. From then on, you can choose any effective cancellation date, provided it’s in the future at the time you request it. Because of this structure, you can’t set a fixed end date at sign-up.

You have requested the cancellation of your insurance to be effective on the following day. A partial refund of the unused days of that same monthly cycle was done automatically. It takes between 5-10 business days for the payment provider to complete the transfer after the refund is closed in our system.

All customers have to explicitly confirm the following with a checkbox during sign-up:
"I understand that Genki Traveler is a one-year contract with a monthly payment that I can cancel anytime after the first month."
