The hotel was wonderful and staff very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was first rate and good quality.
There was an excellent kids club run by Maria who was first class. She taught our children lots of different craft skills and was very good to them both. The facilities at the hotel were excellent with lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pools and great beach.
The rooms were very comfortable with a bath in each bathroom and spacious wardrobes. Such a memorable holiday

It is very easy to order heating oil from the website. Navigation is straightforward and gives choices of delivery dates.
The oil was delivered earlier than expected which is great.
Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

It was very easy to order the tyres I wanted online on your website. There was a great deal of choice. I ordered Avon tyres and chose a local garage that I had used before. The staff were busy but friendly and the whole experience was great. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

Appalling service

We have an oil boiler (14 years now) and have recently had big problems with failed deliveries through this company. It’s been really cold this winter. We waited 20 days for a delivery between Xmas and New Year. They failed to turn up without warning. When I contacted the company they knew nothing about this but eventually they told me which depot was due to deliver. However the driver was ill that day. The next day they cancelled at the 11th hour stating the A50 was closed.(It was a tree in the road 6 miles away and there are plenty of alternatives routes. In the end we had no heating for a further 3 days and no apology from oil-club or the delivery company.
The next order was due to arrive by 25th January but no word again. When I contacted the oil-club by email (no telephone) they told me it had been delivered 3 days before- as if I was mistaken! They then said the indicator on the side of the tank takes time to show the correct level. Not believing the customer! Eventually I rang the depot and was told it hadn’t been delivered. They would deliver the next day (a day late) with no apology. The oil-club did reply to my emails but they stopped including their names. I am a very busy GP and we have a foster baby with us in a house with no heating oil on 2 occasions and the oil-club goes silent. It alright when things go well but when they don’t they turn up. They are not to be trusted. They believe the delivery company before honest customers. They have informed me that I shouldn’t order when my tank is so low. Order an emergency supply just in case. First order the level was 45%. Second order was at 50%. But the delivery was late!! Both times. Do not use this company. Boiler Juice are so much better!

Hi Graeme,

Im very sorry you had issues for your last 2 deliveries. I can see your delivery in December was due on the 31st, but after the supplier ran into issues due to a tree on the main road and it seems the driver in question felt that conditions were too icy for the tanker to take the smaller back roads on the delivery day on the 31st (they have to be extra careful as are driving 20+ tonnes of vehicle and carrying tens of thousands of litres of highly flammable substance, so it is at each drivers discretion what they are confident with), however they re-scheduled your delivery for the next working day.

With regards to your delivery in Jan, I can see the supplier informed our team that it had been delivered on the Friday and we passed this on to you and asked if you could do a physical check inside the tank incase the gauge was not accurate (as we see this is the case the majority of the time), and to let us know so we could go back to the supplier and confirm that there had not been a delivery if that was the case, it wasn’t that our team didn’t believe you this is just standard protocol for getting to the bottom of a possible delivery issue. The supplier then confirmed they had mistakenly informed us and your delivery had been scheduled for the Friday but the delivery had failed, but our team were not informed at the time of updating you and apologised for the confusion as soon as they were aware that they had been misinformed.

It seems that both times you were already extremely low on oil, we do stress in our emails that if you are low on oil and may not last until at least the end of the delivery period provided then we recommend arranging an emergency delivery, just incase any issues arise that may cause delays. And unfortunately with the cold weather and the suppliers being at their busiest, we are seeing that deliveries are taking a little longer than usual, added to this the fact that Covid adds another layer of complexity to things, including people buying a lot more oil than usual with everyone being home so supplier teams are already stretched thin, teams having to work remotely and, on top of this, being short staffed with office members and drivers having to go into self isolation with no advance warning. As we are in the peak months, we currently recommend ordering your oil when you have 6 weeks worth of supply left, to allow buffer time for any issues, and also not to let your oil levels get below 20% at any point for your general tank health.

I can assure you that our team and all of our supplier teams are doing everything they can and working around the clock at the moment to get orders out and resolve any issues that come up, I can see that our team sent over 20 emails in total to try and get your issues resolved, so I hope you can understand that it was not for lack of trying.

Kind regards,
Daniella

Emma is a good person and a great worker. She is the best one we have had in over 20 years. She just gets on with the work and the rooms are not only clean they are sorted and are all smelling really nice. It helps that she uses cruelty free products. We would certainly recommend her to family and friends.

This company fitted our new oil boiler during lockdown. They made an excellent job and were very professional and prompt. Since then they have been back twice to sort out other problems with our central heating (unrelated to the boiler fitting).
They tell you everything about the job before and after they do it. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Review of Car Mats UK

Good car mats

The mats arrived on time and we're nice and clean. They fitted the volvo xc60 very easily. They are rubber and easy to clean. The packaging was minimal but totally adequate for the job so there was little to get rid of. The plastic bag recycles.
Would buy from them again.

Gives variable frothing depending on how long you let it heat the milk. Also does excellent cold frothing. The lid is an great fit and so easy to clean compared to previous frother we had. Would recommend this to family and friends.
