Unsolicited contact

I went on behalf of my sister to view a car as she was working. Before I had barely stepped inside the place they demanded my mobile number. I ticked the box and insisted that they did not contact me. This has been completely ignored and I have received texts and phone calls. I tried to speak to the sales assistant who was more interested in making me sit through a whole spiel about the the FCA regulations despite the fact that I had informed him I was paying cash. They were so disinterested that I simply walked out and we bought a car elsewhere. Clearly as they make the money on the finance they were not bothered about a cash sale. I complained to head office and was assured that I would not be contacted again but guess what. My advice, do not give them your number!!
They call it frustrating to receive calls. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! I made my feelings clear that I did not want contacting but they ignored me.

I've never won any money

I've never won any money. An aunt bought me £5 worth in 1966, never won anything. In June 2019 I started saving £25 per month, in 2020 following redundancy i put £10,000 in. I did have to withdraw the £10k 2021 but again never won anything. Not sure why I've left the £25 deposit running every month, at least it isn't lost if i want it. Guess I just want to see if I can actually win something haha

Good service and I didn't even realise that they had actually delivered the oil. Although it seems they are one of the many that Certas Energy have purchased.

Do not use, they have no customer service.

When you think things can't get any worse they do. My cousin who is elderly who is in Cyprus has spent 3hrs trying to book a flight, having problem after problem with her app. She tried to speak to someone on the telephone but there were no numbers we could find that worked. Wouldn't mind but she was trying to actually give them some money. My advice do not use Ryanair, simply not worth it. She's booked Jet2 instead, at least you can talk to them.

Flight changed to the witching hour!!

We transferred from using Ryanair because we were sick of them changing flights to much earlier times. The witching hour to be precise, however having booked our Jet2 flight at the beginning of the year we have just been notified that our flight in December has been changed from 09.00 to 06.10 with absolutely no mention of any kind of refund for a lack of night's sleep. I did look to contact them however whenever I clicked on the contact us tab it merely gave me a selection of options that gave automatic answers. Whatever has happened to customer service?

Do not use, terrible delivery service

Office asked for a review but when I gave them one they said it had been moderated and did not meet their guidlines, therefore they were not publishing. It was an honest reivew with no swearing??!!
I ordered some trainers for my goddaughter's birthday however it took them nearly two weeks for Yodel to deliver them. When they did arrive the box was totally battered. At one point Yodel blatantly lied as they said they had missed us when we were in. I did double check the security cameras and no, they had not attempted to deliver. When I contacted Office they appeared disinterested. And the finally would not publish and honest review.

In answer to your reply, the trainers are actually Addidas therefore the review is relevant to them not to the retailer who has no control over their quality. However the quality of your delivery service is directly in your hands. I suggest you take responsibility for your actions.

Unbelievably bad

Unbelievably bad, took them nearly 2wks to deliver the parcel. I had one turn up from Hawaii quicker!! When it turned up it was totally battered and it's a present so not happy. Lied when they said they missed us, we were in and to be sure checked the cameras. NO-ONE had been!!!!! Will not buy from anyone in future that uses Yodel.

Total rip off and dire customer…

Total rip off and dire customer service. I ordered a pair of Josef Seibel sandals, of which I had had many pairs in the past. Ordered my normal size but when they came, they were too big around the heel and I had to return them. When I received the refund I had been charged for the return as well as having to pay the delivery. I was £5.99 out of pocket and had no sandals. I did email them about it but I was compeletely ignored, not even an acknowledgement of my email. As you can see from the date that I have given them plenty of time to reply but yet, nothing. I have spent what amounts to thousands over the years with Jones however clearly since Pavers took over the service has fallen significantly. Will never buy from either again.

I have used Allbeauty since around 2007…

I have used Allbeauty since around 2007 and never had any issues. If there is anything you can talk to a really lovely person. Always been able to order without fear of it being out of date stock, as happens with other websites. Prices are brilliant compared to other places.

Rip off, far too expensive now.

The reason for the one star is the sheer cost of everything. £12 for parking but it's not as if there is a choice. I'm quite certain the village doesn't want people parking everywhere, not that there would be the space for them to do so anyway.

Whilst one expects prices to be a little higher, at one point I actually started looking for Mr Turpin. I would have written his full name as in the nickname for Richard but Trustpilot would not allow the word. Apparetly his first name is inappropriate language hahhaha. You really do have to laugh!!!!

We wanted something to eat however I am coeliac and couldn't find anything and there was no information as to where I may find something. Luckily I had taken an oat bar so just wanted a coffee. My sister got these and was shocked to have paid £19 for a hot dog, fanta and a coffee.

On the way out we decded to have an icecream and this came to £10.25 for a magnum, cornetto and a bottle of fanta.

We were lucky with the rides and didn't que more than 5 minutes all day. It was in term time but the question could be, is the popularity or more likely affordability of the park waning?

On the plus side, I have to say a massive thank you and well done to the manager of the Rollercoaster restaurant next to the Galactica ride. I had no change for the machine in the toilet and was informed by staff that they couldn't change my note. I asked to speak to the manager who came and simply changed it with no question. I do understand the argument about it possibly being fake but then does that mean they never take cash? Does it mean that they do not trust any of their visitors, not a good scenario!! Had I simply asked to change the note, I would have understood a little more however I had clearly stated I wanted it for the machine in the toilet. Plus at the end of the day it was only a £20 note, more understandble had it been a £50.

Lastly and this has been the case for my last few visits, the Skyride was closed. Not sure if I will be back at Alton Towers again.

Constant changes of flights

Constant changes of flights. In the past I always believed that if you followed the rules you will be okay. Not anymore, they are simply money grabbers. In the last 3yrs we booked 12 flights and of those 8 were changed. In June we had booked onto an 11.00 flight. They cancelled this and placed us on the 05.00 flight instead, which had always been an option but we chose to pay extra and fly later. However they refused to refund the difference. In Dec we had booked to fly on 11th arriving at 13.00 however they changed this and we would not have arrived until 02.00 on the 13th. Aviation law allowed us to cancel and book with a different airline. I can list a whole array of other issues but I think you get the essence of what I'm saying. I would give them a minus score but this is not posible.

Do not buy their knickers

Bought 2 long sleeve t-shirts and quite good for the money. Although I did order a larger size and glad I did so. I also purchased 2 packs of knickers which are a total waste of money. They are all different shapes and sizes. Most of them won't even stay up, I would not dare risk walking down the street in them as they will be round my ankles by the time I get to the end

Review of Soak&Sleep

Totally incompetent with returns and refunds

Takes weeks to refund when returned. I contacted them and it stated a reply in 3-5 working days, it took 7 days. The refund took even longer, 20 days nearly 3 weeks. The colour was much lighter than expected which is why the refund. They had split the order into 2 boxes which created problems when returning as I could only generate one returns ticket. This meant that the 2nd box could not be scanned in and I had to rely on the fact that we wrote on the boxes not to separate.

4/10/24 update. I returned the 2nd parcel on 23/9/24 however I am still waiting for the £82.80 refund.

12/10/24 update. They have now refunded £10 rather than the £82.80 they owe me. I will never use this company again.

Whilst I have never had a problem…

Whilst I have never had a problem before I cannot give more than 1 star as the order was never shipped and my mother didn't receive a Mother's Day card. This was compounded by the fact that my father passed away on 31st December thus meaning that this was the first Mother's Day without him. I know the money was quickly refunded however I would have preferred my mother to have got the card I ordered.

I bought 2 for size and returned one

I bought 2 for size and returned one. The refund given was £3 less than I had paid. I contacted them and asked why this was, however they ignored me. I have since contacted them 3 times and received no response. It is no longer about the £3 but the principle. What if it had been £30, they have simply ignored me. I will not be using them again based on this experience.
Charging for returns, not a problem as I won't be using you again. Maybe I didn't notice everything as the item was bought for my father's funeral. However you gave absolutely no reason as to why you took 4wks to answer me.
