**Feedback for good refund experience **

My experience is similar to a lot on here where I placed an order in good faith of their delivery options being fulfilled, as I needed it for a function. Sadly, my order didn’t arrive when expected so I rang them. They had trouble locating my order then said as I’d emailed it had been passed to a manager, who was unavailable to speak to. I requested a full refund which they processed in a timely manner for which I am very grateful.
If they were more transparent and realistic of delivery dates, I don’t believe they’d get so many poor reviews. Personally, I love to buy from small independent businesses and never mind waiting a little longer for my purchases, as long as I know this upfront. Unfortunately, their delivery date choices are very misleading. Sadly, I never got to taste the products.

Debenhams finally messaged me telling me I’d get my refunds on or before 13 January 2026. It is now 21 January 2026 and I’ve received nothing!! I contacted them again by Messenger and this is the response I received…
“ Thanks for getting in touch. After reviewing your claim, I can see that your return is now over a month old. Our warehouse team has confirmed that all items originally returned have been processed and refunded. If you are missing any refunds, we are unable to investigate this further due to the time elapsed since the return”. HOW IS THIS LEGAL? ANY DELAY IS ENTIRELY DUE TO DEBENHAMS’ INEFFICIENCY. WHERE DO I GO TO NOW?

AVOID THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Like many other reviews, I wish I could leave zero stars. I had products missing from one part of my order and another product that I had to return as the quality was dreadful. Absolutely appalling customer “service”. How on earth can any retailer not have a telephone number. To contact them via social media or messenger is absolutely ludicrous. You get an AI bot called Kai, who many seem to think is a human, but then no response for days/weeks! They have to be THE WORST retailer ever when it comes to complaints and refunds. What has happened to our beloved Debenhams. It’s an absolute disgrace that Boohoo, or whoever own Debenhams now, are allowed to use the good name and reputation of this once great high street store. To say they’re trashing it is an understatement.

The website does have a huge amount of choice but beware that they won’t all come in one parcel together, but all sent out separately from DBZ partners. All products can be bought either directly from the DBZ partner or from other, more reputable retailers, often at more competitive prices.
As for the refunds… I've recently returned a product to Amazon who refund as soon as you take the item to the drop off point, my refund took literally 1 hour! I also had an issue with a NEXT order, I spoke to them by phone at 7pm on a Thursday evening and I received my missing product the following morning. Now come on Debenhams… that’s what you call “customer service”- I’m still waiting for you to resolve my issues. Maybe Debenhams management team need a team meeting and seek advice from other retailers who value their customers and treat them with respect. Debenhams management and CEO you are a disgrace.

Never will I shop from this store again!

Very quick delivery of online order

Very quick delivery of online order. Boots online offer multiple discounts/savings. I love the different range of products available. My only criticism is that they aren’t very well packed. I’ve had multiple orders in the past where glass candles weren’t wrapped and ended up smashed on arrival. They were brilliant at sending a replacement, however, despite my complaint about the lack of wrapping, the replacement came smashed too!

So… I placed an order and was quite quickly asked to leave a review for the website, not the product yet. So here’s my review of the website… Excellent! Really easy to use. You can complete a little questionnaire and get a number of helpful suggestions. There’s also a comparison box which is super helpful. The checkout process is easy and smooth. The offered 10% discount was uploaded automatically. Brilliant so far. I cannot wait to get my mattress topper (and free pillow) 🥰 Thanks for making the process easy 👍
