Was, ok..

Everyman Racing, Cottesmore – A Mixed Bag

I’ve done a fair few driving experiences, and so has my wife—and we both left Cottesmore feeling it was “just okay.” If you're choosing where to spend your driving day budget, consider saving a bit more and heading to a proper circuit like Brands Hatch. There, you get the thrill of a true racetrack, not just cones scattered across tarmac.

I drove a Fiesta, which was admittedly fun, but I’m not convinced I got the 12 extra laps I paid for—felt like the standard six. The Subaru (“Scooby”) was too large and tired for such a compact track. Rear diff was shot, brakes were acting up, and it was clear this car had seen better days. Then again, with guests hammering them like they’re getaway vehicles, it’s not surprising.

Had a hot lap in the BMW—that was enjoyable. Glad I didn’t fork out the extra £20 for the Ariel Atom though—it’s blisteringly quick, but on a tiny track, it would’ve been over in a flash.

On the plus side, the staff were great—friendly and enthusiastic. That said, I wasn’t thrilled about being nudged to leave a review to enter a prize draw. I prefer to share my thoughts when I’m good and ready.

Misleading Free Trial & Awful Customer Service – Stay Away!

Look at the Google Reviews!! I think the Trustpilot ones have been faked!!

I booked a flight through eDreams and was forced into signing up for their Prime service, which was advertised as a free one-month trial. However, upon calling to cancel, I was informed it was actually a year-long subscription that would charge me £7.99 per month after the initial month. This was never made clear on the website!
When I contacted customer service, the representative was polite but clearly trying to convince me to stay—offering a reduced fee of £3 and a £45 credit. But the credit was useless, as I wasn’t planning to travel again. Worse still, she refused to give me a straight answer when I asked if she was actually going to cancel the subscription. After requesting to speak to a manager, I got nowhere.
This company misleads customers into unwanted subscriptions and makes it deliberately difficult to cancel. I strongly advise against booking through them. Look elsewhere for travel services, because this experience was nothing short of a scam.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company, made no attempt to deliver my parcel but claimed they left it with reception when they never came near my house which I could prove as I have four cameras looking down the drive and around my house. Meant I had to get into an arguement with my supplier who as far as they were concerned had fulfilled their order as the courier claimed they did. I asked for proof of the delivery and the courier sent a Google map with a tag showing the end of my road so not even showing that they came to my house. I would never use this company ever.

No customer service

Edit 31/10/24 - Re teh reply below, that is the same email I emailed with my query twice before trying to call them and then leaving this review, I do not get an answer from it so pointless emailing it again. I've had to start a charge back with my Credit Card.

No customer service! I have been calling and all that happens is it rings and rings and then hangs up. I have also sent 2 emails to which I have had no reply to. I have been sent the wrong rear blade, mistakes happen but it is how the company deals with these mistakes that matters and so far it seems like they are not going to deal with it.
Very disappointed.

No customer service…

Update to this review. Customer services did in the end get back to, it is harder than normal to send items back to them but I was still allowed to send it back. Awaiting refund but hopefully that will come soon.
Have changed the review back to 5 stars as I would have been happy with the item had I not bought the wrong size.

I purchased some of the acoustic boarding. Arrived in good time and well packaged. The product looks great as well....
That's the 2 stars.
The missing 3 stars are due to the lack of response to a request if sending back any unwanted items. Sadly I made an error so want to send the item back, have done as requested on the website but have heard nothing back. Sent a chase email and again nothing back.
Not great customer service and I now have some surplus panels.

Love their clothing

Love their clothing, have some for the gym and some for casual wear. Have found the quality to be really good and lasting. Does not stretch or fade with time. Have only had one issue and this was dealt with very quickly with no issues by Melissa so I'm extremely happy and will continue to purchase the clothing!

So disappointed

So disappointed, really wanted this to be nice but sadly the Hot and Savoury pouches are just bland and tasteless which for the money I'm pretty shocked about, a cheap pot noodle is better.
We have tried the Mac n Cheese and Cajun Pasta, both having zero flavour. I had to add Cajun powder and chilli powder to give it any kind of taste.
I have given 2 stars as the customer service is great, helped me get a free bag of Black Edition which is very nice,but nothing more special than any other protein shake.
The free t-shirt signing up was great as well, but sadly our Huel journey stops here, so so gutted as both my wife and I were really looking to forward to having this as our go to lunch!

I don't like leaving this poor review…

Edit: in response to the reply.... by resolved they mean they emailed me telling me that they are aware of the soft flask issue and the design team is looking into this. So basically they are selling a product that does not work correctly but are happy to take your money.

I don't like leaving this poor review as I am more than happy with the normal High5 Gels, However the soft flask refill bottle is a joke. I have plenty of bite valve bottle and know how to use them, but this one just hardly lets any gel out at all, even if biting really hard! I emailed customer services in case I had a faulty flask and advised that I know how to use this type of flask and all I got was a reply telling me I needed to bite the valve.... not exactly helpful!

Will use again and again.

Met Kate at the NEC Running show yesterday where I had a quick lesson on how to use poles ending with me making a purchase of some top quality poles.
Also bought a great beanie which I wore this morning in minus 3 conditions and kept me warm but not hot.
My friend bought one of their coats which I am pretty jealous about and only didn't get one myself as recently bought an inov8 one at double the cost but his looks great. Good features with zips and poppers.
Also looked at the vests but again I had recently bought one that costs more but wish I could have bought theirs. Really good quality kit, fantastic service and I will use for anything else I need.

Such a shame, buy with caution

Edit: In reply to your terms and conditions, you cannot just change the law as it suits to go with your terms and conditions. I could have lied and stated I hadn't it linked it to my app and you wouldn't have had any clue.
Regardless, the long distance trading laws states that I can purchase something from you, try it and return it if I do not like it, that is law and you cannot just ignore this, hence the legal action I am now taking.

I purchased a Garmin watch, the X model to try. When it arrived I linked it to my Garmin account and tried it on to see how it fits. Sadly too big, so factory reset the watch and asked to rerun it. Customer services have said that due to joining it to my app, it means they won't accept it for a refund due to their Terms and Conditions.... Even though this breaks the long distance purchase laws! They just ignore any further questions asking why they are going against this law so I am now forced to take the lengthy option of Small Claims court.
I could have simply lied and said I'd never joined it to the app as they would have never known, but that's not me and didn't see any reason to lie. Anyway, buy with caution from these guys.

Fantastic site, Really nice bloke with top quality kit

I found this web site by finding ben through YouTube - (Ben Parkes) I have a couple of caps and a top and the kit is made really well from recycled bottles and such. Good value for money and a great service. The kit arrived quickly and well packaged with a personalised touch in each one. I have also bought a Marathon training pack that I am yet to start, but looking through it looks great.
Really good stuff, keep it up!!
