Some glitches
The ordering process was very smooth, however after we paid for our three chairs, some problems arose. First, the arrival date of the chairs was pushed back. The company mentions "shipping date from our warehouse" along with a firm date, but no firm date for arrival. We found this frustrating. In addition, the company promises notice from the local delivery provider and asks that we be at home for delivery. Given the unclear date, this was difficult to plan for, but we were willing to roll with it. Imagine our surprise when we came home from an out of town trip and found the three large boxes sitting IN FRONT of a window of the house - not even at the front door - with no notice of arrival or delivery? We were relieved that the chairs had not been stolen, but they were sitting outside in the elements for at least two days - in winter! The chairs were wrapped well. We have noticed some small imperfections in the construction (as compared to a "real" Cherner stool), but at 1/3 the price, we were willing to accept that.
