Potent & tasty grown-up cocktails!

Quick delivery & swish packaging (great for bringing over to a mate for sharing - without lugging a big bottle around).
Lovely, unusual concoctions, which are rather potent, whilst not being sickly (like some of these individually packaged cocktails).
Can’t wait for the Advent Calendar!!

Vaibhav rang me & carefully went through everything for the trip (which coincides with a special birthday). He was so lovely & arranged some hotel upgrades - as it was a special trip.
Have downloaded the Viva app & look forward to using them again - a fab travel company!!

Throughly recommend this company (& its delicious products!)

Very prompt delivery!
Have only tried one of the products so far - the Citrus Hops!
It was so light, tasty & refreshing! It would be a brilliant drink to have on warm Summer evenings in the garden!
The recommendation for these products came from someone who knew I was keen to follow Dry January (& definitely were not in vain!)
Plus it’s so good for the gut flora, but so low in calories - yum yum!!

Good choice of Irish Whiskey (for our boss, who’s leaving!)

Was excited when the company offered me a free sample, yet this was missing from the (not cheap) order - I’d spent nearly 100 quid.

Flagged this up to them, who apologised (& said they add it on my next order!!)

Surely this is a ploy to make you spend even more money?!

We weren’t in, but the delivery driver was asked (via the remote intercom) to pop the parcel next door - to which she kindly obliged.
I have always found our Hermes delivery drivers to be polite & helpful.

Following my negative review in…

Following my negative review in November 2020, the deliveries have improved greatly.
Still a few issues with use-by dates, e.g. we usually choose evening deliveries - where an item runs out that day or the next, but is already on the turn (berries being the usual culprit!)
However, the FB messenger help service is prompt to rectify this - with a voucher being issued for the full amount(s).

Shambolic service/No communication

Have had about 8 Sainsbury’s grocery deliveries during lockdown (& have been fairly impressed - as my hubby is more a fan, I actually prefer Waitrose or Ocado).
However the past two deliveries have been awful - there were at least two bags missing from the previous one - & the one due last night didn’t even turn up!! Have been on the phone around 80-90 minutes in total.
Now asked for a refund - as I still got charged for ‘air’!
Got so fed up being kept in the dark - & when you do manage to speak to someone, there’s no follow-up or resolution.
Pretty poor service, lack of communication & I’m out of pocket to boot!
I appreciate the call centre is separate to the despatch centre/store, so they seemed to be in the dark too (else they’re ‘fob-off’ experts)!
I have now refused to have anything else to do with this company, so my vulnerable hubby has had to go shopping (as he’s just been re-furloughed & I am a key worker, who can get very little time off at present).
I am so disappointed, as earlier deliveries were making me finally warm to this company!
Well they soon put paid to that, nice one - Shames-burys!!
**The delivery has just turned up - over 24 hours later!**
Don’t their people talk to each other?!
We’ve sent it away, as it’s all duplicates of what we’ve had to source earlier today (having being given no idea as to whether or not the original order exists!!)

Staff were so welcoming, friendly & helpful.
Plus the store has an incredibly huge amount of stock.

I will be returning with my go-to list (to stock up my own drinks cabinet & to purchase some unique drink-related gifts).

Pleasantly surprised!

Having read the poor reviews, I was a bit reluctant to order some of their sale items online. However, two fab-looking ankle boots (both sateen - one higher-heeled pair in cobalt blue & a lower-heeled pair in bright pink) swayed me - especially as these were only £20 a pair.
I threw in a nice pair of light blue sandals for good measure (£15) & was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the order arrived!
All footwear was the correct size & style, plus they fitted really well!
I even got some compliments yesterday from the younger generation family members, re the pink boots.
Sorry that customers have had a bad experience with their orders, for when they do get it right, there is complete satisfaction.

Achica - once a great company

I think that my last order with Achica has finally been sorted - but it is so frustrating that they seem to monitor this site more than their own.
It is such a shame, as they were always my go-to-site for fun/quirky pressies or more unusual homewares. I am aware they do use overseas suppliers; hence a bit of a wait for some goods.
However, since the company was bought out - their customer service has gone downhill (not so much with the helpful resolutions, just with the number of times you have to pester them!)
I should think they are under-staffed, having to pay out so much for the takeover - so I do feel for the poor staff who remain & have to deal with the growing number of complaints. 😔😔

Shoddy service from ACHICA

Guess who seems to have slipped back to factory-mode?
Yep, Achica are at it again - & here’s me foolishly giving them a second chance!
They do still get two stars as MOST of my last order arrived promptly.
However, they were advertising a set of 2 bowls (Alessi Ku - 32cm) in a sale back in late October - there was actually only ONE in the box (which was packaged correctly).
These were meant to be a gift (& that sale has long closed) - this is not only frustrating, it is very misleading & a costly mistake, to boot!!
I’ve had to write to them (yet) again - but decided to flag it up on here (as this site seems to be monitored more frequently than is their actual customer care section!)
Am now regretting giving them the benefit of doubt - as I still await £50 worth of goods, regardless of the white elephant (sorry - bowl!) now sitting lonely without it’s mate!
I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ONCE-GREAT COMPANY - #ACHICA-RIP(OFF)

I am very sorry to hear that you have received the incorrect amount of bowls in your order, I can understand this must be disappointing, especially when these have been intended as a gift.

There are some occasions where the suppliers will sell them as singles, however our buying team will decide to sell these as sets, it appears that there has been an error in the warehouse with your order.

Initially I did post a very negative review.
However, I have now been given an apology, plus a refund (& a voucher as goodwill). Thanks Laura, for restoring my faith in your company! My rating has been changed accordingly :-)
