In our Glasgow John Lewis shop we had chosen 5 cushions we liked, but wanted to get them delivered to a Waitrose close to home (rather than carry them to the cinema we planned to visit later that afternoon). A roving assistant could not have been more helpful. She looked up details of both styles of cushion we had chosen on her phone, then personally escorted us to a payment till where someone else was able to organise everything for us. Both staff members were courteous, friendly and really helpful. A pleasant shopping experience

The cost was very reasonable, and we appreciated the advance information about our designated driver and his vehicle. Pick up instructions were easy, with good communication with the driver, and a timely service.

Delivery itself was fine, no issues at all. Disturbed to find an obvious scam text that day purporting to be from Evri demanding additional payment before delivery could be made. My details were clearly not securely held by Evri.

Because of pandemic and brexit related issues our delivery was much delayed, but we were kept regularly updated on the situation, and when the delivery was finally made all went smoothly. The cross trainer came beautifully packed, and proved not too difficult to assemble, with clear instructions and all necessary tools.

Would have much preferred to speak to agent on the telephone, but long waits forced me to tackle the online form. In the end the application form was reasonable to complete, and the live chat facility helped resolve queries

I ordered a tall slimline bookcase online from Cotswold, having previously looked at a number of suppliers without finding the kind of quality and choice of colours I was looking for. I was impressed with the clear information about the products, and the straightforward process for ordering. A probable delay on availability of 2 weeks was flagged up, and I was updated in good time about a further slight delay, and then offered free upgraded delivery to compensate, which I appreciated.
The delivery process itself was fine, helpful advance warning of time slot, and updated information online. Careful and courteous delivery personnel.

I sent a John Lewis voucher by email to my niece, but managed to get her email address wrong (put .com instead of .co.uk). When I did not receive the expected confirmation that she had downloaded the voucher I emailed Voucher Express explaining the problem, and requesting the voucher be resent if possible to the correct address. I was very impressed to receive an extremely rapid and courteous response saying “of course” this was possible , and in fact had already been done. My niece received the voucher, and I was delighted.

It was a great relief a few years ago to find a company offering insurance for my particular long term medical problem (chronic lymphocytic leukaemia) after many frustrating contacts with other companies. The initial phone call was dealt with kindly and professionally, and the few highly specific questions related to this condition made me sure the company had good medical understanding in the background. Since that first year I have occasionally checked other organisations for comparable annual travel cover, but have come back to AllClear as offering a clear, reasonably priced offering with knowledgeable staff on the phones, and a straightforward online renewal process.
