Review of Paypal

PayPal are crooked

PayPal are crooked. They refuse to pay me for an item sold on e bay - this despite them taking money from my card over 70 times. They have in the past sent me money (refunds) albeit very slowly. This time they said I must 'verify' my account....which I tried to do - the on screen message was my account was already 'verified'. Notwithstanding this PayPay still insisted I must verify my account before they will pay me. Each time I pressed to verify the message was 'you must verify your account'! They refuse to pay me for no reason other than they are fraudulent - hence their move away from UK jurisdiction - why else would you choose Luxembourg over London? PayPal are a rogue company masquerading as a legitimate enterprise and I intend to ensure everyone on this planet will become enlightened about these thieves.

Review of Direct Line Insurance Group Plc

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I got the best quote from Direct Line…

I got the best quote from Direct Line so insured my car with them. Less than a month later I needed to switch to another vehicle, not a problem with Direct Line. I went through their very easy to use online service and completed the deal in no time at all. Due to a major engine malfunction I had to change cars again - this after ONE WEEK..I expected to be bawled out/declined or worse......not a bit of it. Their online services got me covered within minutes - a great company, competitive, professional and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend you give them an opportunity to quote you - they are brilliant.

Pop Tackle All Problems Fast

I believe you can only judge a company when it has problems to tackle - so many out there only operate under fair weather, soon as it's stormy they fold, but not POP TELECOM. I had difficulties with the wrong router (my fault) and was losing connection and/or download speeds. The Pop technical staff acted as soon as I told them what was occurring, they quickly identified the faults and - most importantly - put everything right in record time. If I was awarding points up to 10 I would definitely give them a 12. Many thanks to David and Steve who kept me in the loop from the beginning to the very satisfactory conclusion.

Sports Marketing Are The Real Deal

I listened to advice from SMK regarding our rat problem(s) and decided on the SMK XS 501. The rifle arrived fast and was even better than described. Having shot a lot I can state with confidence that I have referred them to friends and I will definitely be shopping with them in the future. To me they deserve 11 out of 10.

They Are A Company You Can Trust

I have removed the negative feedback because I did not give the Fonehouse souls a chance to put things right. They have striven to contact me in order to put everything right. When a company is ready and willing to sort things out like this it garners both respect and confidence in dealing with them.

Probably the very worst game page on…

Probably the very worst game page on the world wide web. Loading times are daft to impossible, layouts, cookies, overlays and rampant spy-ware means anyone unlucky enough using this should immediately clean their entire computer system or suffer slowdowns and worse. I imagine this site was built by some east European labourers who found 2 screwdrivers, a mallet and some discarded 'computer expert' badges and decided to work in the warm for a bit.

FU Denials

I wrote a warning a few days ago, you will see their response below - as in we do nothing wrong. Firstly they DO advertise a price before VAT. Secondly they do not heed or reply to any enquiry regarding slow speeds other than an offer for you to pay more. I took screen shots of everything because I read the reviews on these sharks - If I'd read them before joining I would never have agreed anything with them. As for them working closely with CAB - that's a laugh. The CAB have - in their own words - complaint after complaint about First Utility. I now have a case number and intend pursuing this to the very end - for which I will expect compensation from FU.

GIVE THE FIRST UTILITY BULLIES A BLACK…

GIVE THE FIRST UTILITY BULLIES A BLACK EYE

Absolute dishonesty from start to finish. They get you aboard for £19pcm but forget to mention anywhere that it's £19 plus VAT. You get a max of 9 Mbps for 4 days followed by .08 Mbps. When you contact them they suggest you switch to £35 per month plus VAT for a faster speed. They will ignore all complaints except when you cancel the DD - then they write, boy how they write. When they know they've lost - as in when you are with a reliable supplier - you will hear nothing for 2 months. Then you will receive a threatening e mail from their 'collection agents' etc. I have opened a case against them with the CAB who believe enough other like complaints will see the Trading Standards take over, even the police maybe. Get your money back off these sharks, ask for some deserved compensation off them for their behaviour towards you; then register the complaint with the CAB.

Hello Bordertide. All our prices are offered to you with VAT included, what you may have seen, could've been an itemised bill, which would have it broken down. In relation to your speed, When you signed up , we would have advised you of your estimated speed range. You can find this in your welcome email. The speeds you may get depend on many factors, without looking at your account I would not be able to pinpoint the cause. As part of the payment process, we always send our customers emails before passing the account over to any collections agency. If you like to contact us, I would be happy to track this down for you.

I would like to stress that we take complaints very seriously and work with the Citizens Advice Bureau closely to help resolve complaints. You can read more about our complaint procedure on here. https://www.first-utility.com/about-us/service/how-we-handle-complaints ^Ajay

Beware Of First Utility Broadband

Beware - sharks. These advertise at £19pcm for broadband. Once you're on supply the download speed is turned down in order to get you to sign up for a more expensive 'service' - possibly the worst broadband suppliers on the planet.

Hi there bordertide - we do not limit our broadband service. When you sign up, we advise you of the speed range you'll get, and there may be a ten day stabilisation period after you sign up as well. We do not limit your speeds at all - if you are experiencing this please give us a call on 01926 328 002, and you can use the call back feature as well. We'll be able to look into your speeds and ensure your router matches your needs. ^Hannah

Review of Lidl GB

Lidl and the car park bullies

Lidl are now in partnership with the infamous Athena parking pirates. This means £90 fines for any customer overstaying or forgetting to register their receipts. Lidl should have notified customers by car park posters who their car parking crooks are - but they did not of course, which leads me to believe they're as bad as each other. I will never shop there again.

Review of SSE Customer Service

SSE Now Officially Reported As Criminals

SSE's intention was/is to permanently deprive those overcharged. Under several sections of the theft act this makes them liable for arrest and trial. I have reported SSE for fraud to the specialist City Of London fraud dept. They have accepted my report and issued a CPN number as in confirmation a crime file is now open. This route to seeing justice prevail is open to every customer defrauded by SSE.
