Review of Lebara Mobile (FR)

Don't go for cheap options

If I could give Zero, I would have given zero. I was deceived by a very cheap price, and I learned not to go for cheap.
I got a Lebara SIM and sent the PAC code as well. Waiting for the Port to be completed. Then, after a few hours, to my surprise, I got full service .But from the same night, there was no service. No texts, calls or data.
I called the Lebara team they couldn't solve the issue. They have no clue, which is very disappointing. I can't stay without a mobile, so I immediately went back to my previous mobile provider EE. Experience with Lebara is so annoying I am telling everyone not to go after a cheap Lebara sim. This was my shortest stay with a mobile company. Please don't be deceived that they have Vodafone coverage.

Absolutely terrible

If I can I only give zero for this company.I have a very new car and suddenly realised that my breakdown cover expired 8 months ago I just searched compare site and found that £10.33 annual cover with this company but paid extra money and got a option that if car break down it will be transported to my preferred garage.so total cost £30.66 I paid.
But when I get the documents it says that car will be transported to the nearest garage. Also £30 excess.Later I talked to my previous break down company and offered £10.66 with no excess.
I want to cancel this cover as it says 14 days of cooling off period. But there is no contact number. Only online cancellation possible. But there is £18 administration fee. £15 cancellation fee.Ridiculous.I will get £3 refund .
Only possible communication is email. That also takes 48 hrs to reply.
I have never come across this type of scam company. I don’t have any trust with this company.Now I have to take another break down cover with another reputed company putting £33.66 to the bin.
I am urging others to never ever touch this company

I foolishly got a breakdown policy on line for my car .When I want to discuss something about the policy No way that I can talk to someone.There is an automated response only and that is not helpful. If you want to cancel this policy couldn’t find a link for it
Please avoid this company.

Great tours , value for money.

I recently completed Rhodes and Turkey tour with RSD. We were the last group this spring. I don't know why some people are so ungrateful and unkind when writing review. This was my 3 rd RSD excursion and going to write a balanced review.
If you want a super luxury holiday and 5 star tour , look for expensive travel company. If you have very tight budget and willing to spend plenty of times to search cheap flight tickets and hotels and transport option ,you go on your own please don't tour with a tour company.
But if you are looking for hazel free travel with a reasonable budget I can't find any other company apart from RSD.I also have positive and negative remarks which I am going to explain now.( For a specific reason I will document negative features first)
1. Extra one week ( after one week of guided tour RSD offer an extra week free room in a hotel but customer has to pay meals. If this hotel is far from town you are stuck in a hotel far from town and attractions. Also this hotel is not 5 star as mentioned in the literature. Due to this reason and I don't have annual leave to waste 7 days ,I pre booked my return flight from Rhodes to London on my own.
2.Time allocated to all important cultural sites not enough ( roughly 2 -3 hours ), Wasting collectively one whole day for carpet factory, jewellery shop, Leather factory. These items are very expensive but exceptional qualities. Might be good experience for first timers. but not for repeated travellers like me.So it is not 7 days cultural tour actually 6 days.
3. RSD don't mention hotels until we arrive the respective country although they say 4-5 star hotels.( Definitely not 5 stars but quite understandable due to what we pay)
4.Seventh day they offer an extra excursion which cost me £ 75. Although it was an interesting one total cost for this tour was £674+ 75 =£749.00
So those who didn’t go this excursion , had to stay in the hotel and this was actually 5 days cultural tour not 7 days tour.
I have positive remarks as well.
1. Chartered flight is very good and always at a convenient time. 22 kg luggage allowance with cabin bag are far from flying with a budget airline.
2.Air port transfers very smooth.
3.Guides are very professional , educated , friendly and can speak English very well. Our guide this time was Mr Volken .He is exceptional. During travel He explained anything from history, demography, Mythology. I was not fed up to listen to his descriptions.
4.Coaches were modern and drivers were very professional and helpful.
5.No hazel to enter in to historic sites as during this time of year very crowded. Guide had prepaid tickets and capable to entry beating the queue.
6.We totally drove about 1500 miles during this tour. So my hands free during travel either I could take pictures or could sleep.
7. Hotels ( obviously not 5 stars . But what you get for what you pay ). We stayed in 5 Hotels and resorts. They were acceptable and in nice locations. Nobody could complain about food in every hotels.
8.RSD had organised this tour very well we went to all the historical world heritage sites as described in their literature.
9.RSD customer care team in UK also very supportive and friendly.We can very easily contact them via email or telephone call.I even changed my travel partner as late as 2 months before departure.
So you can see that positive features of this tour were more than negatives.
If you ask me whether I travel with RSD again. Yes certainly if it is a one week tour. I don't have leave to waste extra 7 days as I am a permanent employer.
In summery RSD is a great choice if you don't want to spend a luxury holiday and don't expect luxury having paid not much. Also if you don't want to bother spending hours and days looking for budget airlines ,hotels rental cars, checking sat nev to find the ways in a foreign country and to stay in long queues to enter a all important site.
Why I didn’t give 5 stars because of extra week not to my liking.
All in all if you want to book with RSD you have to think hard and every aspect.

I have an account in this site.My account has been hacked and somebody has booked from my account and credit card. No security at all. I tried to contact this bloody site which is not possible at all. There is no contact number. Even emailed no response.

The best insuarance for photograpy.

I have insured my camera equipments with Ripe insurance for 2 years now.I didn't know that filters are covered too. Accidentally one of my LEE ND filters dropped on the floor and broke.I contacted customer service with doubt. They are very helpful and the claim procedure is very straightforward.Once I submitted evidence of damage, Proof of purchase and cost for replacement claim was sorted. I am really satisfied and recommend this photography insurance.

I am really happy with morethan

I am really happy with morethan. It promptly paid my pet insurance claim after deducting excess. Based on the experience I had with the previous insurance company this time it was pretty easy as I gave the claim form to my vet. After receiving the form I got the claim within a week.

Please avoid

I read good reviews about them only to renew , quick to start the policy, cheap price etc etc.But you will realise if you submit for even for small claim.
I am writing this after a very bad experience
Please find another insurance company for your loved pet.

I got a insurance for my sweet Honey.Everything is very straightforward. Very efficient chat service.I don’t think premium is too costly based on my policy. I have to wait and see how do they care if I have to get a claim.

What a Brillient company.

This is not the first time I contacted insurance company for a claim. There was a blocked drain in my house. I gave a call on Sunday morning. Customer service was very supportive. I got a text message that an engineer will visit between 10-1 pm same day. He came at 12.00 job done. Very satisfied with this insurance company. Now I am not worried as I have got a critical illness cover as well with them.

very poor customer service

I chose this airline as there is no other direct flight to Sri lanka. Nothing is perfect in this company. You will never be able to contact Srilankan airline through phone.They will give you enough liquor. But food is horrible.Some of the online entertainment not working. People are travelling with Sri lankans as there is no any other direct flight.

I downloaded free Kaspersky for a trial period. Computer became very slow.
It didn't allow me to pay online with /without protected browser eg national express and an airline ticket.I had Kaspersky some years ago but never had such a bad experience.I now decided not to have any antivirus.

Bitdefender internet security 2018 spoilt my compeuter

I bought Bitdefender 2018 DVD from eBay.I have used Macafee and Kaspersky before But the experience I had with BitDefender was horrible. First dvd didn't run in my computer.T hen I contacted the dealer and said that can't refund. Then He assisted me to download online. After installing it My computer became very slow and didn't allow to google chrome to open. My computer is a brand new All in one PC with a good speed. So I uninstalled it and I wasted money.
I sincerely recommend nobody should buy this programme.

worst slide show making software.

I bought movavi slideshow maker software. It is a really disappointing program.User manual is useless.There is no way I can control the duration of the slide and transition. If I include photos with portrait mode picture is cut above the neck.

I gave an order to Tapi carpets in Christchurch. I was waiting the whole day for them to come to measure and get an estimation. But didn't come at the agreed time. When I contacted them to reschedule, next available date given 10 days after.I had a very bad experience the first day went to Tapi carpets.
