Poor product, terrible customer service
I purchased a Parker Brand petrol engine strimmer/brushcutter on 21.11.23; in early November 2025 the machine failed. In attempting to find the original 'paperwork' I eventually had to email the company direct on 9.12.25 who advised me of the date of purchase (as above) 18 days beyond the expiry date of the warranty. They made it clear over a lengthy period of email correspondence that they were neither prepared to accept my word as to the date of failure of the machine and would not be prepared to be flexible over the 18 days mentioned above. Instead of making a goodwill gesture to me in this case, they repeatedly offered me a repair package of £100 plus - this for a machine originally costing me around £80 ??!! Also relevant to this case was the fact that the machine had only had a small amount of use, and I have now been advised that it is effectively beyond repair.
I resent having to give one star to this company for selling me a poor quality machine and failing to exercise any flexibility in dealing with any repair/replacement. I certainly would not recommend dealing with this company.
