Proceed with chargeback and don't be intimidated by their legal essay they send back to you claiming they performed as per their T&C's.
The chargeback can be made on the grounds of: 1) The 3 month assisted refund process was represented as part of the kiwi.com package. 2) Purchase was made via kiwi.com based on this representation rather than going to airlines direct 3) After 3 months, no refund or assisted credit was provided 4) They did not perform in line with their agreement and therefore misrepresented their product/service
Kiwi.com will not survive COVID-19 and will likely reopen under a different brand run by the same people. In fairness to them, they ran a good business model prior to COVID but clearly had no resiliency or poor management through the crisis.
All other refunds with airlines direct took no more than 5 weeks so over 3 months to process an assisted refund and blaming the airlines is complete nonsense. Never will use them again.
