westfield London restaurant

my daughter booked a table at the Westfield London branch. when we got there the restaurant was 3/4 empty, however the waiter tried to seat us in very close proximity to another table. I told the waiter i would rather us have another table so we asked for a table a bit further away so we were not sitting on top of other diners. i could tell the waiter was annoyed however he grudgingly sat us at another table. he then proceeded to ignore us by taking an order from people who came in after us. pretty childish act to be honest. So we got up and left. its a shame because i hear their pizzas are really nice

Not for me

i found the meals bland and tasteless. i was only marginally a fan of the granola for breakfast. i don't think Jane Plan worked for me because i like cooking and cannot bear processed food.

Level 3 Mat Pilates -

I really enjoyed the course and found the learning materials very helpful. I completed the 'in person' weekends in London which i found invaluable. the tutors Angela.Sarah and Anneka were knowledgeable and very helpful. The practical sessions were also invaluable . yes there is a lot of coursework to complete, however there is a lot of support from the support tutors (mine was Dawn Rafferty who was lovely). The course work is also necessary to achieve the level of understanding needed to successfully complete the course. i have an exercise to music background and have worked in the fitness industry for 25 years, however the pilates training was a whole new experience for me - and a positive one. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone thinking of becoming a pilates instructor. I already have had so many offers of work, i have had to turn some down !

good experience

very pleased with my curtains and blinds and the installation, all look lovely . Advisor Mike (advisor number 113034)who did the home visit where i chose the curtains and blinds, also did the instillation which was professionally finished
Would recommend Hilarys for curtains and blinds and its worth paying for a professional to do the job.

Not quite 5 stars but ok

Pleasant guy turned up when stated and took a very short time to fit the battery into my car. I had also booked and paid for brake fluid to be put into the car. The mechanic who turned up told me my car actually did not need it , however I did not get my £15 it cost refunded from Halfords - I asked the mechanic if this was possible, and was told no . Therefore this gets four stars rather than 5 .

Deleted this App never to be used again!

i would also give a 0 if i could. The delivery driver did not even deliver to the correct house (really annoyed that some neighbour of mine actually took the order). When the driver (called Kamal) was contacted to ask what house he delivered to he actually said 'oh it was some black people'!! outrageous. Then he refused to come back to show me which house he delivered to claiming to be 'too far away' The restaurant (creams in Walthamstow) were also not much help either when i rang to complain about the delivery driver. the only saving grace was that we were refunded within an hour. Never using this app again

Good click and collect service

I was told by a work colleague how good their click and collect service was and they were correct. very easy and a separate queue. I have dropped one star as i purchased paint testers and one of the pots did not have the colour information . However this will not put me off purchasing from them again.

ok trust pilot you need to lower the…

ok trust pilot you need to lower the rating for this company.

its now becoming apparent that 118118 money are not going to help customers and are probably going into administration . it has now been nearly 4 weeks that customers like myself have been experiencing problems with a company who are literally just fobbing people off (please do not bother to leave a reply 'MJ' - i am not interested unless i get a call from someone i can SPEAK WITH).
Hopefully when this dreadful lockdown is over some proper investigation into this company's practices can be investigated.

@118118 i have not received any message from you. As i said i want to speak with a person

@scott - i also received an email after my review, and sent the required info which was my mobile number. i have still not received my phone call. i think they called you as you were requiring a settlement figure i.e you are paying them money. 118118 owe me a refund of nearly £500 , hence the deafening silence from their end.

118118 playing games now...

I made an affordability complaint which was upheld. I received an email from 118118 stating how much the refund would be and asked me to contact their customer relations team to confirm my bank details (which they already had) I called customer relations as directed and got an answering service due to 'a high volume of calls I left a message as directed. Five days later I was called by an advisor (13th March). I confirmed my bank details and was told the refund would be paid within 5 working days. By 23rd march I noticed no payment had been made into my account so called 118118 again and got the answer service again. I left another message. I have not received a call back. I went onto the website and saw it had been disabled and used the online chat to explain the problem. The 'agent' who I was talking to said they would pass the enquiry on. I then received a lengthy email explaining that 118118 has been a victim of hacking. The email does not make ANY mention of how this affects customers in practical terms. I believe they are on the brink of going into administration and are no longer taking payments or will make the refund due to people. Really underhand!

just seen the reply from 118118!! so all they were concerned with is that i called them a 'payday Loan company' well in effect they are BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!! whoever this 'MJ' is has not addressed what i said - the email sent does not mention how their cyberattack and being taken offline affects customers due a refund or those who want to pay their loan/credit card payments. To me this is evidence of their impending collapse. i will try and contact them again via their 'chatroom' but how do we know this is actually 118? its poor form to use the current situation to their advantage , but this is what they are doing. the score has gone down to 1 star now!!

ok went onto the chat on the website chat only to be told that 'due to government guidelines the offices are closed' - i pointed out that many offices are closed and people are working remotely (as i am). i pointed out that my conversation with their offices was on the 13th march before we were all ordered to work from home and i was told my refund would be in my account within five working days .
Like i said this company is using the current situation to their advantage. i think customers will now have a fight on thier hands regarding any refunds due. They are going to administration that's now obvious and like wonga hope to fob people off with 5% of what they are owed.

Went back onto the website which is now stating their working hours are 9am to 5pm on the chat facility (yesterday i was told the offices were closed on the very same chat). I asked when the website would become live again (after being told they are 'doing everything they can to restore the website as soon as possible blah blah blah' ), and of course there is no fixed time frame. This time i was asked to leave my email and mobile number and someone will get back to me 'when they are up and running'..

@Mrs Elliot - i would check with Experian regarding your query about your credit score. As another person has said 118118 has offered a cheap version of fraud security with experian however you cannot keep your existing Experian account which shows your credit score and various activity which would be important to you. i personally would not take anything said to you over the chat as definate or even true to be honest...

i noticed the website was back so i attempted to make contact yet again. i used the chat service (yet again). this time i was asked for my Loan agreement number along with the usual 'whats your mobile email and name' request. This time i managed to let the 'agent' know that if the bosses of 118118 were sensible people they would check trustpilot as reviews are not good. Like many others i think this company is going under ,. I also think this company are using the current climate to stall people. As soon as restrictions are lifted, then we will hear of their demise. I am chasing a refund i should have got by 20th march. If i had to be making payments, i would not be paying them a penny,,,

Review of Aperture IVA

waste of time and money - please think carefully before using this company

i have had an IVA with this company for over a year now, and i decided to check with my debtors how much has been paid to them. To my surprise both my credit cards are still at the same balance there were at when i started my IVA, and a loan i took out is now in arrears when the payments were up to date when i took the iva out. I was struggling financially, and i am a single parent, so i did decided to take out an IVA, just to stop the torrent of debtors contacting me . i emailed aperture to ask for a statement of how my payments were distributed. That was three weeks ago and have not received an answer. i have just cancelled my direct debit to them as i have realised they have done nothing to help improve my credit score. No doubt when they don't get a payment they will contact me however i will not be using them any more, i will work with my creditors myself to clear my debt . when i first spoke to aperture my debt was about £4K, and i have paid aperture over a thousand pounds, however none of this seems to have been passed on to my debtors. Reading the other reviews it seems i am not alone in being in this situation. What a waste of time and my money which could have been put towards restoring my credit rating.

Good service - Tracking facility needs a tweek!!

Good efficient service. I booked a cab from Stanstead Airport to London via the website while on holiday abroad.The website took my flight number just in case it was delayed. I received two update texts reminding me of the booking before my return date. i also received a text when my flight landed to tell me the driver was en route. Driver then called me to arrange the meeting point (this can be put on the booking as well ), and arrived at the specified time.
I would recommend this service. I gave it four stars only because the app link to track the driver did not work properly.

Review of People's Postcode Lottery

can definitely relate to the frustration.............

I have been reading the reviews and I must say I can relate to peoples frustration at only winning the smaller amounts. I have been playing the postcode lottery since 2015 and one £230 in small amounts (10 and 20 pounds). However, I will say that the payouts are swift and I do get the email when I win. London postcodes do win often but I have noticed some London postcode areas win all the time! for example postcodes beginning SE,TW,IG and RM are frequently winners of the daily prize of £1,000.
Jury's still out for me to be honest. yes i have won 200 odd pounds
but that is over a number of years and i must have paid much more in subscriptions. I am giving it one more year as a small part of me still has hope.
