I locked my keys in my car yesterday.

A chap called Brian came out to help. What a lovely, personable and engaging character. He could see me and the family were stressed; he calmed the situation down perfectly, was generous with his time and very proficient.

I wouldn’t normally write a review, but he went the extra mile. A top top chap.

I went into Cirencester yesterday morning with my mother to take back her coat. The woman in there- called Denise- I believe was utterly charming.

We had a tricky issue to resolve since my mother bought the chairs elsewhere, but she handled it with no issues at all. She was lovely and it’s a rarity to meet someone of her ilk in todays day of age.

As a man in his forties I was looking for a little bit of maintenance and repair, but my issue was how to get it without the embarrassment of enquiring.

I really needn’t have worried; Ruth and Jane were able to put me at ease, ask all the questions about what it was that I was looking for and allay any fears I had about any treatments.

I have so far had three treatments and the effects have been remarkable..

I have contacted CIAT today about Tony Birkett claiming to be a member of CIAT. The staff member there informs me that they have been asked to remove their qualification but have not done so.

The RICS have become aware of this and have also promised to deal with the issue. However CIAT have not been as patient and have informed me today that they will be contacting trading standards.

If you engaged Tony Birkett in a professional capacity under the assumption he was a CIAT member you should get legal advice.

Tony Birkett is still pretending that he has a CIAT qualification.

Chaps, just to update you on the Tony Birkett situation at Headprojects in Blagdon, near Bristol.

He is claiming on his website to be a member of CIAT. I have since called CIAT and they tell me that he is not a member and that the other director of the company, namely Steven Birch is a member. CIAT are furious and say that it is fraudulent that he is claiming to be a member himself, which he clearly states on his personal profile and have assured me that they are taking action and will update me. Let’s be clear, his company and his director are under the CIAT banner, but Tony Birkett is categorically not a member of CIAT as he is claiming.

Tony Birkett is a member of RICS and I’ve informed them of the potential fraud in attaining clients who are under the misapprehension that he is indeed a member of CIAT.

It is vital people do their homework. If you’ve been a client of Tony Birkett’s I’d suggest you call CIAT and they will be happy to inform you that his association with them does not exist. From there you may wish to consider what action to take.

Tony Birkett, the partner of this firm needs to be avoided at all costs.

A recent case involving a party wall award, estimated to be around 1500 pounds, ended up being circa 12,000 pounds. He’d even billed me a few hundred pounds for having correspondence with my elderly mother in which he was recorded threatening legal action against her.

I’ve been asked to give an interview to a tabloid about his exploits, which will come out in March.

He has been duly reported to the RICS.
