Worst ever experience and unhelpful company
Worst experience.McDonalds delivery was over two hours late and then cancelled by UberEats with no reason given or apology!! We decided to re order and this time we waited one and half hours , with no sign of food and thinking the same would happen again we went out and bought food. When we got back the McDonalds was left on doorstep. We had tried several times to contact UberEats with no luck. I complained to McDonalds as I ordered on my McDonalds app but was told it was down to UberEats. Ok so you can only deal with them online. You get some generic response that they can’t refund as that was inline with their policy and McDonalds. I asked what policy is that? My food order was so late. They said they could offer no other reason and the issue was closed. They thank you for your loyalty and wish you a good rest of the day. Went back to McDonalds and explained but they said it was not down to them. Finally a lot later we decided that maybe we could warm the food up. After all that,food and dips was missing. The outside and inside bag was perfect, but one burger was open , top of bun underneath everything else and sauce everywhere!! So now I go back to UberEats to explain and show pictures but because they had closed the case it’s final and they refused to help. McDonalds said the same. Now I feel like a liar. If I was going to lie I could have said items were missing in the first place!! Just hadn’t opened the order!! Anyway lesson learned. I’ll never use this company again!!
