Don't Bother

The site's part finder links to a wrong part for my vacuum. Have made a return and I am still waiting for a refund after 10 days and a message to customer service - and they have the nerve to suggest they might ( I.e. probably will) deduct £2.99 from the refund to cover postage if they decide that the order failed on account of customer error. No it didn't - you haven't checked what fits what machines.

At eSpares we are a spare parts distributor and rely on the information provided by the manufacturer/supplier to confirm suitability. I am sorry this was not accurate on this occasion and it has been passed to our suppliers to investigate.

As listed on our website and as part of the returns instructions sent via email, 'If you've simply had a change of heart or if the item doesn't fit, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a refund. The item must be in re-saleable condition and its original packaging or we won't be able to refund you. For convenience, we provide a pre-paid postage label to return your item. Please note: the return postage cost of £2.99 will be deducted from any refund applicable. Alternatively, you may pay the cost of returning the item yourself.'

The return was logged by yourself as 'Customer changed mind: part does not fit as opposed to 'content error: wrong on website', this would explain why you were notified of a possible deduction.

A full refund has been processed to your account.
