Awful caterwauling
Awful caterwauling. Presumably retail psychologists have advised this to attract a younger client base but it merely deters existing customers.
More till points would also be an asset

Review of Sainsbury's
They can stop using Trustpilot, which is far from trustworthy and a total waste of money
Review of Salter
The parcel arrived promptly but was followed by this silly feedback form. These were longlife cookery items that have not all been used yet, and for which a period of at least a year is needed to see how well they perform.

Useful pair of gloves and the silver helps with touch screens. Pity about the idiotic follow-up feedback form. Better to save the TrustPilot subscription and reduce prices. Who trusts TrustPilot?

What do you expect? Only idiots trust Trustpilot!
Bring your prices down even further and scrap the silly fake questionnaires.
Try responding to the comments instead of what you imagine was the point. Just don't trust fake review sites - none of these services is accurate or reliable. Customers will vote with their feet - only idiots trust these fake reviews.

A simple purchase - why the silly questionnaire?
Average service for an average product, what more fo you want? Trust Trustpilot - certainly not.
Review of Arighi Bianchi
Very solid and suitable piece of furniture, up to Arighi's usual standard. Delivery was somewhat pricey given that I am fairly local and it was a fairly swift delivery.
Pity that they waste money on these pointless reviews. Do companies really expect to be cited as above average? Is that above average for the industry, the town, the universe, or just for the company?

The intense caterwauling proved too much so we left without looking at everything that we wanted

JL have consistently neglected their cafes -understaffed and under supplied; over priced, if anything. They could be a 'loss leader' if more resource were pumped in, attracting in more customers.

Lots of empty space, not many products. It would have been good if they brought the cafe back - there is certainly enough wasted space.
I keep asking for Sockies but noone bothers to source them.

John Lewis need to remember that its stores provide a shopping experience. This includes its catering outlets. These have been pared back in recent years and the Place to Eat at Cheadle offers much less choice. On this occasion we spoke to five members of staff, including two chefs, to try to obtain a suitable gluten-free offering.
The quantity of goods in the Sale seems much reduced and there is confusion in the labelling, making it dificult to understand which items are at a reduced price. We approached one "partner" in bedlinen who was most unhelpful and basically told us that some goods were reuced and it was up to us to find out which ones!

I was sent a dubious feedback form that no respectable academic bookseller would have truck with.

They can stop employing companies to annoy customers with spurious questionnaires of doubtful value.

The transaction went well but they sent me a very pointless questionnaire that calls their wisdom into doubt. The use of questionable "surveys" is a waste of money so the firm is either profligate or could lower its prices. The feedback that I received to my comments suggests that Blackwells do not listen or take their academic image seriously!

I placed an order with Blackwells and immediately received this stupid survey. This is not the only company to behave in this silly way but I thought that Blackwells had intelligent staff who could see beyond spurious surveys and questionable questionnaires.

But something from H&B and they will pester you to fill in a ridiculous "syrvey" that is totally unscientific and meaningless. Clearly they are making too much profit if they indulge themselves in this way.

The service was so average that I cannot remember...
What is it with companies these days? Do they not know that reviews on Trustpilot are rubbish and even in-house questionnaires are designed by incompetents? Does anyone actually take notice of the drivel that is written? (more fool them - never trust anything that you read on the internet) Why do firms not save the money and use it to reduce prices?
