Excellent Service

I emailed for advice and they were extremely helpful, even attaching a PDF manual of my log burner. I placed an order for the fire bricks and these arrived promptly and very well packed and are a perfect fit.
I highly recommend this Company and will now stick with them.

Shocking Customer Service

My £1,200 robot vacuum stopped working in mid December and I was told it would be collected by DPD on Jan 6th.
On the collection day I received an email to say collection had been cancelled and they would get in contact (which they haven’t).
A call to their foreign call centre didn’t provide any updates.
Shockingly poor customer service from this once great Company.
Steer clear of their products!

OK until you claim!

Be aware that this Company provide cover at a reasonable price but when it comes to a claim it is hassle to say the least.
In mid November my car was damaged by another driver and it is currently sat out in the road, now with a flat battery while I wait for their “engineer” to approve a repair.
Two emails have gone unanswered and when I phone India they say it is being dealt with. Shocking!
I would steer clear, there must be more professional Companies out there.

Edit: Thanks for the reply. I have made a complaint via phone and have still got nowhere! My insurance policy was paid for, it wasn’t free, so Privilege should be honouring our contract which they are choosing not to.

Bathroom fan Contour C4

I really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing my Xpelair bathroom fan!
I paid extra for the top of the range model with timer and humidistat.
It’s the “silent” model and yes, it is quieter than most, but then you realise by default it is set to low speed. Set it to high speed (so it works) and the volume increases.
There are some one way baffles on the rear which are supposed to keep draughts out. Mine fell off during installation.
My fan doesn’t turn off unless I disconnect the humidistat, so that’s £20 extra I needn’t have paid.
Be warned that buying Xpelair is buying junk; never again…

I phoned the Tonbridge branch in July and am still waiting for the promised call back (it’s November).
Would I now trust them to sell my house?
