Furniture arrived and is better than I…

Furniture arrived and is better than I remembered. I love it. The delivery men moved my old, heavy furniture for me and placed my new, heavy furniture in situ. They were efficient and helpful and quick. And they advised me 15 minutes before arriving that they were on their way which is helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a great company to deal with

What a lovely company to deal with. The product is top notch and I am amazed that you can fit a beautiful roller blind without drilling. Genius.
I had a quality problem and tentatively reached out. The response from Chris, in customer service, was genuine concern and a swift solution. I am thrilled with my blind. It looks amazing and transforms my previously old fashioned bedroom. Cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be ordering from them again. Good, old-school customer service.

Very speedy result for me

I noticed the day after my first shot! I’ve only had 6 or 7 shots but my knee pain has gone and I haven’t taken night time painkillers for 4 nights. Can it be these turmeric shots? I’ve also lost a couple of kilos recently so it could be that but drinking these feels like creamy goodness drenching my joints. I don’t know whether it’s psychosomatic but I don’t care. I have been in pain for so long (well over a year) and now I’m not ( knee and hips) Will review again in a month to see if it lasts. I love the taste and the consistency as they are not watery.

Purple Bricks outsource ID checks and the Buyer has to pay- not their client The Seller

Purple Bricks were the Vendors Estate Agent. They charge £80 to the BUYER of the property (so the Sellers Estate Agent charges the BUYER) so that they can get an external company to do ID checks on their behalf. They then take a cut of this fee. This is written clearly at the bottom of their “for sale” listings. But being transparent does not make it right. The buyer paying any fee to the sellers estate agent just feels dubious. We pay our own estate agent a set fee which includes costs for ID checks as they will always be required. Purple Bricks must be used to receiving complaints as they said “ Do you want to withdraw your offer then?” to which my reply was “ yes”. I would not, now, buy a house if Purple Bricks were marketing it.

I am always surprised

I am always surprised that I have cooked it myself as it tastes so good. I realise it’s idiot proof but even so…..the flavours are layered. I find it a bit of a faff the first time I make something I’ve not made before and the recipes always take longer than they claim but the food tastes so good. Even something as ordinary as Mac n cheese was elevated by extra ingredients and a pea shoot salad (whole grain mustard & crème fraiche) and I loved it. I only cook for myself now so I have it for dinner one day and lunch the next day.

Loved the product but many of the tiles…

Loved the product but many of the tiles arrived broken because the packaging was not strong enough. The delivery company do not wait around for you to unpack and check the product ( as the seller requires) I would say 1/4 of the tiles were damaged and it looked like the crushed box had been dropped multiple times. I didn’t need all the tiles but I would never order tiles online again. Next time I’ll be going to the shops. Some products just don’t travel well. Having said that the unbroken tiles are gorgeous.

How could they NOT manage to resell my ( at face value) Elf The Musical tickets?

I put 2 of my tickets to Elf The Musical on here. The reviews said things like “ sold in 17 second” Elf the musical was completely sold out- packed- but this website did not manage to sell the same day tickets. I could have got a refund at the box office as so many people wanted tickets. What a waste of time and my money. Feel disappointed and totally mugged.

I absolutely LOVE both the dresses I…

I absolutely LOVE both the dresses I bought. I bought 2 different sizes as the reviews said “ this comes up big” for one of them and they both fitted perfectly. Well made, classy and different. I can’t wait to wear them now. Always a bit scary buying clothes from the internet. They can sometimes, sneakily, be from China and not what you thought you ordered. This was exactly like the photos, definitely not from China ( arrived after a few days) and beautifully made. Thrilled.

I don’t like cooking

I don’t like cooking. I find it stressful. These recipes work every time and my confidence is growing. There are spices I’ve never heard of ( Chermoula) and different ways to cook boring potatoes and vegetables that makes them much more exciting. The portions are big, too. It makes me cook from scratch without the worry that it will go wrong and I like knowing what ingredients are in my meal ( as opposed to Ready Meals) Too much packaging but I don’t know how they can change that.

My 16 year old specifically asked for…

My 16 year old specifically asked for this because he could “ test it” for ( I think) 100 days. I got it when it was on offer so was pleased with the price. I love the way it arrived rolled up in a box so it was easy to take upstairs. My child is really happy with the mattress and claims to sleep better as it’s so comfortable. Happy child-happy parent. I would recommend.

Very slow to answer the phone (15 mins)

I have always rated this bank for its exceptional Customer Service but I have been on the phone now for 12 minutes, for the second time today, waiting for someone to answer the phone. Not happy. No reason given when (after 15 minutes) the phone was answered just "we are very busy today" I put the phone down the first time as the queue gives you no idea how long you will have to wait or where you are in the queue. Also no option for them to phone you back which many organisations now have (maybe something you can look into Metro?)

Unexpectedly understanding, kind customer service staff

You can txt EDF to chat to customer service and it works surprisingly well.
It is personal and caring and I am unexpectedly impressed with them.
They have been really, really kind to me and generous in their understanding of my situation ( I am an Executor of a property) I haven’t asked for any money off or discounts but their flexibility with my situation has been notable and deserves a good review. Customer service is rarely good enough to review ( in my opinion) but this genuinely is.
