Booked early to get good deal and specific room which cost more that £200 for two nights than booking later and we didn't get the room we requested or the same floor.

I booked through booking.com as they provided a better price than the hotel did direct. however, I booked as a single person by mistake but called the hotel three times firstly to change the booking to two people and I was advised that that had been done and secondly to ask for a specific room on the first floor which we have had a number of times before it become a Raddisson. on arrival the booking hadn't been changed and they had not record of the change to two people and not note on the room requested three times. We still had a grand room at the front but could not seen the beach as they put us on the second floor which we could only see sky. Additionally, paid £355 for the two nights which when we arrived they were advertising the same room for £87 with breakfast which would have been a saving of nearly £200.00. We booked early specifically to get a good deal and the room that we wanted. it doesn't seem a positive sell out to Raddisson as the hotel just blames Raddisson booking and allocation system. In future we will consider the Voco next door with better rooms, views and also cheaper at £55 per night.

Good products but needs customer service to talk to when there are problems

Paid for urgent two day delivery which took a week and a half. Tried to phone them and their telephone message says that if you are domestic customer you cannot talk to us. you have to go through the app which then sends you a ref no. for investigation. took three days to get a response only to say that they refunded the 48 hour delivery cost and the case is closed.

Victoria Plumbing customer care noted the Trust Pilot rating and phoned me and go through my concerns. Very impressed with Ella and was very pleased with the help that she provided.

However, they need to put in place a customer service centre that domestic customers can talk through issues as Ella has.

DON'T USE THEM

This is the second year that they have automatically renewed my policy without sending any renewal notice only the policy documents. last year i advised them that i did not want to auotmatically renew this year. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I am writing to my bank and also Aviva that underwrites the policy.

Hi all yes me too

Hi all yes me too, i thought that i was on the Gov website and ended up paying the £89.00.

Can anyone confirm that they recieved a letter that was from DVLA and which you followed the link which led you to their site. I have some suspicions that they maybe duplicating DVLA letters so that we use their site. This concerns me if this is the case as this means that they are getting our data from somewhere without our permission which is a breach of the data protection act.

Now talking with my bank to obtain a refund as this was not clear and i received no notification that this money was being taken.
I will be reporting to trading standards and serious fraud unless i get a response to my email which i chased them today on.

Dear all update on the 7th April. i have a big battle with my bank First Direct as they referred me to the terms and conditions section 8A which says no refunds. However, i argued that i agreed for the cost of the licence as this was the service that i was purchasing and nothing else. the rest was taken without my permission nor the service i was purchasing. My bank refunded the money as there is nothing in the terms and conditions for them to sign people up to a monthly subscription, not authority was given to set up a direct debit and the only fee i approved for payment when completing the transaction was for the £24 for the licence. However, i have now found that although i received no replies to my email the company has refunded me fully. So thank you to the company. I will be cancelling my case with the bank. I suggest that anyone reading this follows the same steps.
