‘Irresponsible and unprofessional’ are amongst the politest words I would use to describe this company.
Marketing and taking money for goods (Mountjaro) that they don't have, and bearing in mind the forthcoming price rises, likely never will.
Once the supply problem is clear - the solution according to YM seems to be “let's not engage with our customers, in fact we’ll just turn off the phones”. At least the poor lady (Maddie?) who had to deal with grumpy and worse customers will get a break. The only time I spoke to her, she did do what she said, and I got my order a couple of days later. Thanks Maddie 🙂
This time (repeat maintenance dose of 5mg, so not difficult and all documentation already supplied to YM), nothing except silence for two weeks. What's to review, my BMI is still way above what it should be, and my other meds haven't changed. Delaying my dose however will (or should) mean that I need a smaller dose again. Where’s your pharmaceutical responsibility, YM, when folks get enhanced side effects due to actions outside their control?
This morning, I tried to call again at 0900.
I was number 6 in the queue. A full 30 minutes later, I was still number 6, so I hung up. I immediately rang back to receive the "phones are down" message, so it's clear that this company wants to avoid all customer contact.
Edit - upgraded to two stars because on the news this morning that the manufacturer is withholding supplies until after September 1st, so that THEY can charge UK pharmacies more. So not entirely YM fault, although they clearly need to improve how they operate.
