Brilliant Shopping Experience All Around

What a lovely shopping experience. Not shopped here before, but found something on line that I was looking for stocked here. The price was great, the goods were delivered free of charge and arrived by a tracked service the following day. Everything was really carefully packed and included a personal hand written note thanking me for shopping with Bonk. What’s not to like, great service all around! Thank you.

Poor products even poorer customer service.

I ordered two bake off dishes they were both faulty.

Please be aware that if you buy an item from Cath Kidston than their returns policy is not customer focussed at all. I bought three items, two were faulty. I sent customer services photos clearly showing the problems, a large chip out of one dish and a printing problem in the pattern with the second dish and was told that I had to return the items at my own expense for them to be reviewed by their quality control people and then reviewed by their manufacturers (they are made in China?) These are two large heavy pie dishes. Only then would I get a refund and if I sent my receipts for postage I would get it refunded but only up to a value of £10. They also had to be returned via Royal Mail and I suspect will cost a lot more than £10 to return.

In the mean time, I am out of pocket and still have to buy two more gifts to replace these faulty items. Two issues here, the fact that two out of three items had major manufacturing flaws doesn’t look like the products are of very good quality at all. I certainly won’t take the risk of shopping again with them. Secondly when the products are faulty I shouldn’t be having to go to all this trouble and expense to resolve it and wait so long to get my money back.

Review of Liam Parfitt Removals

Excellent Service

Very happy with the service we received. Liam visited our property to see what needed to be moved before quoting whereas others did on line quotes or video quotes which we were less confident about. The quote we received was very competitive. Moving day went well the two men worked really and moved all our furniture into storage. Very happy to recommend Liam and his team.

Non Existent Customer Care

British Airways current customer services is appalling. I have been trying to speak to somebody about a voucher for a flight that was cancelled during Covid and it is impossible to speak to anyone who can help. I ring everyday, several times a day and either get cut off, told I need to speak to a different person but cannot be transferred to that person or just left hanging on a ringing phone. I have emailed them, messaged on Instagram and tried talking on the online chat, who also cut me off. I have written a complaint and not had a reply. The only excuse seems to be they are very busy. This is not acceptable, we are all busy and waste valuable time trying to contact them. They need to resource up to cope with customer calls. My hotel is booked, the hotel organised by myself directly has been so accommodating but at this point I think I will need to book a flight with another airline and try and get my money back from BA via my credit card company. I really cannot believe how bad things have got with this company, it is truly shocking. The 75% one star feedback on here and discussion on Twitter tells you all you need to know about the current level of customer care at BA

Frustrated and Disappointed

I ordered two items which cost me £57.50, £30 for the Fireside Diffuser and £27.50 for the Fireside Candle. These items were half price in the sale so would have cost £115 at full price.

The diffuser and candle are in ceramic pots with a fireside picture and gold rims on the top and bottom of each piece.

On both pieces the gold on the rims was untidy and looked scratched. I provided photographs showing this. I contacted customer services and was told that as there was not a fault with the items and that I could return the items but at my own expense. I contacted customer services again and explained that I had provided photos and that I did consider the items to be flawed.

I bought the items as gifts but with the gold paint looking scruffy it made them look cheap rather than luxury items.

I then received a reply that stated that the variations in the gold paint was considered part of the charm of this hand painted beautiful collection.

I replied again stating that scratches and uneven paint was not really charming in my opinion. I was once again referred to the policy that requires me to return items at my own expense.

I think this could have been easily resolved by just letting me have a returns label. These items do not look scratched or uneven in the website pictures of these items on line. I don’t like leaving negative reviews and said I would rather resolve the situation than do this but I was told that all reviews are welcome.

I am unsure what I plan to do next, and whilst I fully accept that the customer is not always right I feel that my concerns were not really considered I was just continually referred to the standard returns policy for items delivered in perfect condition which I do not consider my items to be.
