We have had front door and porch fitted.
Never had so many problems.
The front door wouldn't lock- eventually changed the door.
The porch won't shut in the hot weather- not been repaired despite several promises of repair.
I have contacted them since to get a door knocker fitted, can't get it done anyway else as I don't want to void warranty. My calls/ messages aren't be answered- Regret using this company.
Would not recommend- AVOID

Our records from April 2023 show that the initial composite door that was fitted had a manufacturing defect pertaining to its locking barrel. We could have just changed the locking barrel, however you mentioned that a member of the family was having troubles with that type of system and you wanted a new lever lever door. Your composite door was re ordered as a new order from Solidor and fitted free of charge. We did not charge you for the additional aesthetic amendments and for the change of lock/handle design that you wanted. This would have been an additional cost as it was different from your contractual order but the company were happy to do this free of charge especially because of the issues you experienced from the locking barrel.
Regarding the door knocker, we are grateful that you didn’t attempt to fit it independently, as doing so incorrectly could void the Solidor warranty. We will take care of this for you.
As for your sliding outer porch door, our records indicate that four of our engineers have visited to address the latch/lock issue. During warmer temperatures, UPVC can expand, and unfortunately, on those visits, the door was functioning properly, so we couldn’t identify a fix at that time. We’ll be ready to assist with the sliding door issue during the summer months or as soon as it arises.
Once again, we apologise for the challenges you've faced in contacting us. We can understand your frustration and need to leave this review as you must have felt ignored. We have recently transitioned our call handling/holding systems, which may have contributed to the confusion.
