Fraudulent Seller on Chrono24 – No Support, Legal Action Ongoing

On July 14th, 2025 I purchased a Hublot Classic Steel and Gold Lady via Chrono24 from the seller Fine Watches & Diamonds. The watch was advertised as “like new” and came with a certificate of guarantee.
The reality was completely different:
• The battery had leaked acid, causing severe corrosion and damage to the movement.
• According to the official Hublot Boutique in Hamburg, the entire movement needs to be replaced (estimated cost approx. €1,400).
• The watch is no longer water-resistant, with visible moisture stains on the dial indicating prior water damage.
• Even the straps were in a deplorable state, moldy and unusable, and had to be replaced.
Worse still, the seller Fine Watches & Diamonds is completely unreachable – neither by email nor by phone. Despite the seriousness of the case and all supporting documentation provided, Chrono24 refuses to intervene beyond the initial steps, leaving the buyer without real protection.
This matter is now with lawyers and will be pursued legally.
Conclusion: Chrono24’s lack of control over its sellers and its unwillingness to properly support buyers in cases like this is unacceptable. Purchasing here involves a serious risk.
