B&Q have been going steadily downhill…

B&Q have been going steadily downhill for years. Currently trying to search anything on their website is impossible. We're trying to find some paint and regardless of colour palette chosen, the search brings up everything but what you want. Totally useless results. Tried multiple browsers on multiple devices and just the same. If you select Red, you get cream, the filters are useless and don't work. Their desire seems to be to get you to buy absolutely anything in desperation, so they seem to flood you with unwanted products, making it impossible to find anything you actually want!

We've given up now and will be going elsewhere for our paint. This, plus the extremely poor quality of products, mostly made in China, says it all - overpriced rubbish. The only way to stop this is to vote with your wallet and try and buy British.

The worst experience trying to transfer an ISA

The worst experience from any company ever for trying to transfer an ISA using their online form!

First you enter your correct personal details, but that's no good as later on when you enter your nominated bank account details, they are often different with the bank account having initials and surname, so they don't match the personal info on the ISA application - so then they can't match this up. You then go back in case you've missed something and of course, no, you have to enter First, Middle and Surname. Well of course this is not going to the same as the initials used on a bank account -how idiotic.

Next you can't proceed without actually opening a separate document for each part of their T&Cs - but on the next page this repeats with the same documents again so that's 5 additional browser windows you have to open before you can proceed!

Next - You are asked where the funds for the ISA are coming from - and the next idiotic thing is guess what? - There are NO options for the most common income source for an ISA - Transferring from an existing ISA! There are no exact options and an online search says you should not choose maturity or sales from investments - so that leaves no other option! Whoever put that form together needs to go back to 'common sense school' or get a job as a traffic warden.

Gave up, cancelled the whole transfer and will be taking our investment elsewhere. That's the only way these stupid companies will employ people with an ounce of common sense.

Update Post Vanquis Reply: I think somebody needs to rethink the whole form design it is utterly awful and not user friendly - and I've been in ICT for 40 years! We have now placed our not insignificant investment with Virgin Money today and the whole application form, account opening AND ISA transfer process was completed in less than 10 minutes!

The worst software company in the…

The worst software company in the world.

They force password changing without asking for it and when you ignore it they lock your account so you can't play the games you've paid for - an absolute disgrace.

I'll be launching an official complaint to the EU commission about this as it's tantamount to theft what they are doing.

Unusable IOS App

Absolutely terrible IOS app which they have massacred recently.

I can no longer get PDF export option for my BP reports - that has disappeared since the last update and cookies acceptance screens on the app everywhere will not disappear and hide the content below. A 2 year old could designed this better.

Screen text is too small to read, text input boxes bring up the onscreen keyboard that then hide the confirmation / submission buttons - it's a total disaster published without proper testing.

I've now deleted this crappy software and will be getting myself another BP monitor from another provide - sick to death of Omron.

Order not showing up in account

Order not showing up in account, have tried to contact them using the provided contact us form and that has failed 5 times! Just constantly says ERROR when trying to submit.

I give up and probably won't be ordering from these people again.
