Wow, Decathlon suck! I ordered a bike because it promised two-day delivery. Needless to say, it did not show up in this timeframe. I am still waiting for it. I am told it will be some time next week, no one knows really. Their customer service are unhelpful and unresponsive. If I had known that it would not be delivered, I would have gone to a local store. That is what I should have done.

I bought a set of horse-riding socks. I was very surprised to get them and discover that there was a height difference of 3cm between each sock. Clearly a major quality control problem. Decathlon is selling them off cheaply now, although the offer was not available when I placed my order. Lots of people must be returning them. I tried to write a review on the Decathlon website, but they rejected my review, saying it didn't meet their conditions. They refused to allow me to leave a negative review warning other customers of this quality control problem. They will be getting numerous returns, so for them it is also better to just withdraw this item from sale.

Bonjour ! I’m disgusted that having purchased a tent, it failed to arrive and all the kit arrived in one box supposedly 30kgs. Even the delivery man said it was wrong. You demanded a letter of honour, then said you didn’t recurve it. Received a second one and we have missed both bank holidays. Now you have given us a refund and we have to buy another one. Unacceptable service and appalling in today’s market. I will be spreading the message. Ordered in April and still waiting. I suggest people go elsewhere for a reliable delivery. I ordered an item which was supposedly available. During several days, I received 12 emails notifying me of delays and non-availability. Then they reported that they didn't have the item and cancelled my order. Immediately thereafter, they made a new order for the dog collar but with a wrong address, 400km away. My package is now on the other side of France, and they consider it delivered.

The most serious problem with Decathlon is that they prevent from you publishing negative reviews. Looks like there is some automation system which configured to block them under non-relavant reasons. So, my negative review was not published and I wrote about that to Decathlon Philippines - as the review was related to the product bought there. And in opposite to Decathlon Israel, I got the reply suprisingly quickly - just on the next day. They managed to contact their technical team and the technical team published my review. Well, such successful resoluion of the issue I didn't expect.

And the problematic product - the transparent waterproof case for a smartphone WATERTIGHT PHONE POUCH IPX8. If your smartphone is important for you avoid using this case. Its closure can be easily opened by waves as it closed by sliding clamp going from a side. And a strong wave can shift it easily. Yes, you can return the pouch and get money back, but who will fix the possible damage for a smartphone.

I purchased a bathing suit on decathlon.fr. The size guide gave me a wrong size. The item was too small. I returned it in a Decathlon store but wasn't paid back, even though the clerk told me I would.

Until this month, I was very satisfied with Decathlon. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that Decathlon does not manage its partners properly. I placed an order on the Decathlon website from their partner, Northwall. My order was significantly delayed and was marked as “delivered and signed” twice, even though it had not been delivered at all!!! Neither Northwall nor Decathlon helped me resolve the issue.

I contacted both companies many times but received no useful information or support. I had to contact FedEx every day for around 10 days—sometimes several times per day—just to understand what was happening. In the end, I discovered where the package might be (no one was sure about that) and had to go in person to a FedEx pickup point to retrieve it myself.

Delivery sucks.
You need to take a day off work to wait for their delivery man. They deliver in the street. They are so lazy.
Will never order again from this company.

Disappointed to be told that well behaved dogs on leads are not permitted in store. We have never had this issue before as the dogs have always been welcomed, including water bowls at the door. Waiting outside in the 30+ heat was not ideal. We will not return to decathlon.

People are generally rude and unhelpful for no reason

Awfull quality of bike they are selling, the front wheel does not even spin properly despite the high price. Trying to return it for two weeks, no return label has been issued, I don't understand why is it taking them so long to simply issue a return label? They are incredibly unprofessional, probably best thing to do is to contact my bank and tell them how I got ripped off.

I tried to rent a bike in Lyon for 3+ months but as an expat it it not possible to get clearance from your foreign bank for deposit. My LCL bank account (I only use it for small payments because French dont trust foreign banks) was not good enough for them. What a typical French company. French customer service at his best!

The Decathlon store in Vaughn, Canada is great! We bought an exercise bike from Beatriz and Andres. Two employees at the store. Beautiful products, great service, lovely employees. Thank you Decathlon, Vaughn, Ontario, Canada

My experience is decathlon is not to be trusted and is to be listed as a fraudulent company. I received a defective bike for what I expected to be my child's birthday gift, and I cannot get a response from decathlon other than an automated customer service will respond in 24hours message, which is a complete scam and lie.

ordered indoor bike on 20/11//2024. it is more the a month later nothing, no message no nothing, call to customer service nothing and best part is decathlon marked the order as delivered
