I'm an independent artist based in Chile (Gunyrock) I cancelled my DistroKid subscription in July 2025 and they kept billing me for two more years. In July 2025 I paid USD 49.00 for the Leave a Legacy extra on my release MI PROPIA VERDAD (receipt 557670313). That extra exists for one reason: to keep your music live on streaming services after you cancel your subscription. Nobody pays USD 49 for permanence and then keeps paying the annual fee too. I bought it in order to cancel, and I cancelled. I never received a confirmation email. Not in my inbox, not in spam, not anywhere. So I had no way to know the cancellation hadn't gone through. It hadn't: Jul 16, 2025 - USD 24.99 - receipt 558076773 Jul 19, 2025 - USD 12.00 - receipt 559541271 Jul 16, 2026 - USD 24.99 - receipt 808671146 Jul 19, 2026 - USD 12.00 - receipt 810559859 Identical dates, two years running. That's the auto-renewal cycle running untouched. I'm outside the US, so these appear as small international USD charges on my statement, which is why it took me this long to catch. Then I tried to get help, and this is the part that should concern anyone considering DistroKid: - Their Ada chatbot returns "This bot has been disabled." I tested it in Chrome and Firefox. - Their support form produced no ticket number and no reply. - Their support email auto-replied that the inbox is not monitored, pointing me back to the website that doesn't work. On July 31, 2026 I cancelled again. I reached their page confirming "Your account has been cancelled" and was signed out. Once again: no confirmation email. I have a timestamped PDF of that page and screenshots of everything above. So the only mechanism they offer to stop being billed gives you no verifiable record that it worked — and I now have two years of evidence that sometimes it doesn't. I've had no response from DistroKid to date, and I've had to escalate to a chargeback through my card issuer. My advice to anyone using DistroKid: after you cancel, screenshot the confirmation page immediately, and check your bank statement on your renewal date the following year. Don't assume the cancellation worked just because the page said so. Also check the EXTRAS section on each release — those renew annually and separately, and cancelling your membership does not appear to stop them. To be fair: my 2023 and 2024 charges were legitimate and I have no complaint about those. The distribution service itself worked. The problem is what happens when you try to leave. I'll update this review if DistroKid resolves it.

I’m Kenneth-Michael Veltz, an author and musician, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. I recently signed a contract to publish my first book, “Thought Food.” While I’m comfortable with quarter notes and crafting paragraphs, building a website felt completely out of my depth. I knew I needed one, but had no idea where to start. Then I started seeing ads for The Free Website Guys. My initial thought was, “Yeah. Right.” I dismissed it as one of those “too good to be true” offers. However, the more I saw their ads, the more I felt a positive vibe about the company, so I decided to reach out cautiously. I’m so glad I did! Now, I have a beautiful website for my book that perfectly matches the colors of my book covers. They drew from my “About” and “Introduction” sections, creating a cohesive brand image that I was aiming for. Working with Sven, who seems to be the main contact, has been a delight. I’ve often found tech-savvy folks intimidating, but our conversations were filled with respect and a genuine desire to help my book succeed. My website is simple for now, but I have big plans for it as my book grows. I understand that when I want to add more complex features, I’ll transition to a paying client. I have full confidence that the costs will be reasonable, and they’ll deliver exactly what I need. I’m not related to or long-time friends with anyone at The Free Website Guys, nor am I receiving anything for this recommendation. I’m simply grateful for their support, and I can confidently say they’ve proven that sometimes what sounds too good to be true is, in fact, wonderful and true! Warm regards, Kenneth-Michael Veltz

Tonight was a really nice dinner with some new friends. The restaurant (Blossom Thai) was very good - nice decor and ambience, with excellent food. I will make one comment though. On two occasions with 'Nice to Meet' I've been assigned to only a small group, last time just 3 people and tonight 4, and this has limited the chance to meet more new friends. It might be that there are less people in the older age range enrolled with 'Nice to Meet'. Tonight, however, our group was seated with a second 'Nice to Meet' group and that worked out well, making a total of 10 at the table, in contrast to the last dinner I attended where I was seated with just 2 others, despite there being another 'Nice to Meet' group at the same restaurant that we could have joined. 'Nice to Meet' is a lovely concept, and a lovely way to meet new people, so if you think you're too old to be going out to dinner with people you don't yet know, let me tell you that you're not! Join up and come along, even if you think those days are behind you. Some of us 'oldies' already on board are looking forward to meeting YOU. :-)

I took a black box policy with this company out on my vehicle, this was the 5th telamatic policy I have taken out on a vehicle and it is by far the worst one. After only having the policy for a week I decided to cancel after it would score me down for phone usage when I was sat in my car with the engine off and parked (very much so legal), and even worse than that, if i was standing next to my vehicle using my phone. When trying to contact someone regarding this issue, there is no customer service line, only way of contact was through a chat bot, which only answered 3 things. As a result of my experience, I would heavily advise against taking out a policy with this company, even if their low prices can be tempting.

I had the honor of working with Nadine when I was a hospice RN case manager, and she is truly one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. She provided incredible bereavement support not just to patient’s families, but to the nurses as well. She truly listens and brings genuine comfort to those she cares for, especially during those seasons of grief that come with losing a loved one. She is always willing to go the extra mile to provide exceptional support, and I cannot recommend her highly enough if you or someone you know is looking for bereavement support!

The Safe Ship broker went above and beyond to accommodate my shipping needs. My previous experience wasn't that good. However to make it right, they listened and corrected any questions or concerns. One great experience to mention is the moving company they dispatched to pack and load. Earlybird moving & Logistics company is top tier. Their entire group of men were on time, professional, and focused on getting the job done right. This second experience made up for the first shipping experience. They earned every star possible.

Absolutely atrocious delivery service. Marked my package as delivered via the mailbox when it’s a 9ft banner and a 6ft banner which in no way would fit through the letterbox. There was someone in to receive the parcel and they didn’t knock or ring the doorbell at any point to let us know they were at the door. Attempted to claim via the UPS website but all I get is an error message. Called the customer service and no answer. Jesus Christ why is it so hard to knock on the door

Fiona from ashberry has been amazing every step of the way in helping us move into our new home, she is friendly and helpful which makes everything less stressful. Scott one of the site managers has also been there from the start and has always been there in case we have a problem or question. Love the location of our property as it’s out of the way but still close enough to shops ect. Will always recommend ashberry to our friends and family.

Came in today with what I thought was a broken plug not charging my MacBook…turns out my MacBook itself has decided to give up on me! Del, Heather and Stuart were FANTASTIC from start to finish, I was shown the different MacBooks available before making my purchase and was shown how to go about transferring my data. This has completely saved my day with a very important assignment due! Thank you guys again, amazing team.

More than half my order was missing and they refused to refund it. They didnt give me any reason. After telling them about trading standards and that I was away to report them, the driver came back with some more of what I paid for, but still missing two things. So I am still out of pocket. This is definitely the worst delivery company I have used since 2014.

I recently bought a Ford Focus ST3 and had a great experience from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. A big thank you to Paul Souter for being friendly, helpful, and making everything easy. I would definitely recommend this dealership and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

Ordered from tile mountain twice before with no issues but this time I ordered some larger floor tiles and were damages, would not refund the broken tiles or replace, was happy for them to be collected however my phone would not allow me to upload the images therefore I'm £120 out of pocket
