Like everyone else, I was cheated

Like everyone else, I thought I was paying for a manual for an oven. We got concerned when told that an on-line manual would take 48 hours and there is a spelling mistake on there receipt page. Contacted my card company and they suggested it may be a scam subscription site. Which it is. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
It should be closed down. My wife phoned the French number and insisted that we be unsubscribed. I have an email confirmation. Next step today is report to card company and relevant authorities.
Actually one star is one star too many but couldn't procede without something.

CONTEMPTIBLE SCAM. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

LIKE MANY OTHER REVIEWERS I SIMPLY REQUESTED A USER MANUAL DOWNLOAD, PAID MY 45 CENTS UP FRONT BY DEBIT CARD AND PROCEEDED TO BE TOLD THE MANUAL WAS NOT AVAILABLE. 3 DAYS LATER 47,90 EUROS WAS TAKEN VIA MY DEBIT CARD. Very sharp practice, avoid this company!Requested a manual which they were…

Requested a manual which they were unable to supply.
They still took the initial small fee followed by a substantial subscription fee I wasn’t aware that was going to be taken especially in view that they could fulfill my request.
This is very sharp practice. I’ve contacted them asking for a refund but had no response. I can only hope that my credit card company will block all payments to them and investigate them as promised. Steer well clear of this company!!!

There was no consciousness of signing up to a subscription of any kind. They have deducted nearly 50 euros from my bank three times before I questioned it. I still don't know how it happened and it should be illegal if it isn't already

Well I was a bit worried but it wasn’t difficult at all. I have to point out that when I try to do it it wouldn’t let me open the PDF or it said that they didn’t have that manual. But that was okay because I could see it and I screen printed it but then I got an email the next day with the link to it so utterly fantastic service for such a Small fee. Thank you so much

Semi-legal scam!

I ordered a manual for 0.50c which was duely delivered but later I found they tried to take 50€ a month "subscription". My bank, luckily, did not allow the payments.
It seems some people experience no problems while others get signed up for a monthly subscription. Be very careful when using this service (also applies to Assistalib.com) and read the small print as I believe you have to opt out of the subscription rather than opt in
