Tiny was an absolute lifesaver! He not only got us to our Airbnb but also made sure we made it to the ferry on time to get to Hamilton Island. No show is for sure, No apologies

We called 13cabs twice - through the app and telephone. No drivers turned up at all although I booked it more than one day before, no way to communicate with the driver. Our whole family (3 over 20kgs luggages, 2 elderlies + 1 mum & 1 crying baby) waited under the sun for more than 45 mins and thus ended up switched to Uber/long walking + tram. Terrible experience for a family trip! Our pick up spot was the busiest part of Newcastle near the Interchange Station. SERIOUSLY, do not choose 🚫🚫13cabs⚠️⚠️ or you are bond to miss your flight or train.

The driver was rather rude, continuing staring in his rear view mirror at his passengers. Making it a very uncomfortable ride and it was rather creepy.

Scammed by the drivers

This will be the last time that I ever use 13CABS. I got scammed today by the drivers. I booked a Maxi Van tonight to Melbourne airport and paid for it in advance, only to realise that they sent a SUV instead of a van. As a result, the driver could not fit all our luggage with the passenger. Driver then provided a solution that he would arrange his friend to help out with no additional cost. We agreed with that solution. However, upon arriving at the airport, the driver asked me to pay extra to his friend. They forced me to pay otherwise I would have missed my flight. It's a shame that 13Cabs let this happen. I will never use them again.

Complete crooks - get an UBER instead!!!

Absolutely disgusted at how this ‘business’ operates. We were charged $250 for a maxi taxi from bris airport to the Gold Coast. On the way back in far less traffic (half the time in fact) our charge was $520 to the cruise terminal which is closer?!?!? Disgusted, disappointed and would NEVER get a taxi again. UBER all the way. We worked out it would have cost us $170 for a large UBER instead… way to ruin our holiday!!! 13CABS are criminals!

13CABS Exorbitant Pricing (Townsville)

I just caught a 13CABS taxi from Townsville Airport to the ARDO Hotel in Townsville City. The trip was about 15 minutes and the charge was nearly $52.00. An UBER would have cost $23.00. The taxi meter read a total of around $31.00 when I exited. I unwisely assumed that the meter fare would be the charge, so I tapped my phone to pay. After checking into the hotel, I look at my credit card and noticed that I had been massively overcharged. I then spent the next 45 minutes on the phone to 13CABS to explain the situation; given them complete details of the trip. They said that the journey should have cost around $26.00, but wouldn't help me any further. Either my taxi driver made an error or committed blatant fraud. Either way, 13CABS wasn't willing or able to address the problem. I would recommend that you avoid this seemingly disreputable company and stick to UBER (or alternatives)

If l could give no stars I would but it doesn’t allow, it disgraceful service by Susan . I rang for a cab. The lady wouldn’t let me speak and ended up hanging up on me. I was very polite and not rude, so I went with another company.

Prompt service, excellent driver

Booked my taxi online last night to take me to hospital for suregry this morning at 6am. At 5:30am I rang 13cabs to make sure a taxi was coming. The operator said they book the cab only 10min before the requested time and to call again at 6am if the app did not reflect a taxi was coming. At 5:55am I got notified a taxi was on the way and it arrive 2 min early. Friendly, kind taxi driver. Could not have asked for better on my way to a stressful event. 5 stars to the driver today. He was excellent

Taxi driver took $500 prepaid card on one day, extort more money on the next

13cabs driver failed to provide taxi meter for fare, took the entire $500 prepaid cab charge card for a verbally stated $140 over inflated cab ride, verbally use threatening tone with me and then had the audacity to come the next day trespass a private residence to extort money from another family member, using a different taxi meter that did not provide the service. 13cab customer service did not accept responsibilities and just surface apologise. I should have use my regular cab driver instead of 13 cabs, my children are now frighten as this middle eastern man came to our door and ask for more money. There is no Reciept on how much he has already charged the cab charge card and he knows where I live.
The driver also did not display his credentials, cleared the meter before arrival, and his whole demeaned is very threatening. I felt extremely unsafe and I felt even worst that 13 cabs refused to take responsibilities and failed their duty of care to their customers, and just told the customers to seek their own method to verify the cab change that their contracts or employee has taken.

This is not a safe company and quite possible ran by mobs. I will never be riding a 13cabs again and will write to the public transportation ombudsman to complaint. As a female passenger that has to ride alone I feel sick just thinking about taking another ride in any 13cabs.

The driver was a middle eastern man in cab number M1163.

Absolutely awful experience yesterday…

Absolutely awful experience yesterday in Melton with a cab driver. Date 14/9/2024 cab number – VIC 1612 M.
on coburns Road, that is a road closure, and two lanes are merging into right lane.
I was getting late to work, but still waited in the right lane for almost 10 minutes, while this driver pulls up from the left lane and tries too merge in at the very intersection. I rolled down my window and yelled at him asking him are we mad to be waiting in the line for so long? All he said was- there is a camera to record everything and dangerously merged in front of me with our cars about to be dashed. I definitely will complain about this behaviour , as such people should not be allowed to be on the road.

I am a DVA client and was treated very rudely by the man who took my question about my hospital pick up. Uncalled for. I reported it to DVA immediately and will now write to the Minister to report it and ask that this company have othing to do with DVA

I pre-ordered a cab to get us to the airport at 7am on a Sunday morning. The cab never arrived, so we called and after a long wait on the phone they told us we would be a priority- we weren’t. We cancelled and rebooked Uber - getting us to the airport in time. 13cabs strolled up 45 minutes late, with no apology. I will never use this company again!!

How can it be OK for you book an access…

How can it be OK for you book an access cab for a patient on oxygen with an urgent appointment at a specific time then the cab doesn’t turn up, plus when you call they tell you that booking doesn’t guarantee a taxi it’s more of a suggestion! 😡😡😡😡😡 Absolutely appalling customer service, will never use them again, I hope Uber drive them into the ground.

Booked 2 hrs in advance for a wheelchair taxi was confirmed then it came to the time no driver was assigned. I tried calling to speak to a human and there was no way to get through. We needed transport to the zoo and wasn't able to go. Definitely not going through this company again. So unreliable ruined our day with the family.
