This property could be great without too much effort. Location is picturesque & serene. Cabins are quirky in a cool way & designed well. Kitchen basic but adequate with toaster, kettle & oven. Liked the vinyl lounge as you could wipe it over & you felt it was clean. It’s a long walk in the rain, if you have mobility issues or have heavy suitcases - on a wooden decked walkway from carpark to cabins.
Our cabin felt unclean. The 2 towels were small, dirty looking, thin, scratchy & didn’t smell fresh. No shower mat provided & floor outside of shower would get soaked as shower was poorly designed. The bed was rickety, did not have a mattress protector & bottom sheet kept coming untucked so you would wake up on mattress. (The bed was against the wall so hard to tuck bottom sheet in properly on wall side). Bedding looked old, thin & didn’t ‘feel’ clean. Sauna advertised was not working. No rubbish bin in kitchen or a plastic bag to put your kitchen rubbish in. Tea towel was the size of a face cloth, microfibre material so wouldn’t absorb water or dry the washed dishes - needed to leave them to self dry. No kitchen sink plug or tv remote - contacted host within 2 hours of arrival & no response from host for entire 3 night booking (still haven’t heard back).
Booked through booking.com & reviews have been blocked. Also blocked through google maps - no reply from these platforms or host about trying to leave reviews.
