Does not follow up when asked to provide estimate for painting car

On September 22, 2025, I took my car to 360 Collision Centre in Abbotsford BC for the purpose of obtaining an estimate for repainting my car and rehabilitating some minor surface rust caused by stone damage to the paint. The estimator spent roughly half an hour examining the current condition of the paint on my car. Once he completed examining my car he told me that I would be contacted within a day or two and provided with the estimate. I had provided the lady at the desk in their waiting area with my name, cell number and address.

When I had not been provided with the estimate by 10 days later I sent the company an email via their website enquiring as to when I might be provided with the estimate. I sent the email on Saturday October 4. Late in the afternoon of Monday October 6 I received a call from the business but I was unable to answer the phone since I was, at the time of the call, driving through Manning Park on my way to Osoyoos. The caller left a voicemail that provided their name and the number to call them back at. I called the number the afternoon of the next day and asked for the person who called me by name. I was advised by the lady answering the phone that the person that I asked to speak to was unavailable since she was in a meeting. I was asked for my name, telephone number and the purpose of my call and was further advised that the person that had called me would contact me either when the meeting ended, or possibly, the following day since it was mid-afternoon at the time of my call. Well, here it is Saturday October 11 and I still have not received a call back.

I am quite disappointed with the way that this company has handled my request for an estimate to paint my car, especially since my previous experience with this business had been very good. They did an excellent job repairing my vehicle after I had been sideswiped about two and a half years ago.

I had made a trip to Abbotsford from Osoyoos for the specific purpose of obtaining the estimate to repaint my vehicle. It is really too bad that they apparently have so much work that they can treat a customer in such a disrespectful manner.
