Scam site. Luckily I had a suspicion and generated a 1-time use credit card number through Citibank. 50flashsale gave me a bogus tracking number. I tried to contact their support, but emails to them bounced back.

Same MO. Gave both PayPal and me a tracking number that was from someone else to someone other than me in my same zip code. The package weight was three times what it should have been. PayPal will do nothing stating that the shipper supplied sufficient evidence that the package was delivered - even though I supplied UPS proof to the contrary.

Big hoax!! Company doesn't even exist! Same as all other reviews!! I received an email 5 days after ordering my item saying it was delivered, tracking number was someone elses, delivered to another address from another company!! Called PayPal they opened a case, it's under investigation, Flash50 is now appealing it, are you serious! What a joke! Look at these reviews! PayPal needs to no longer support this company!!
I'm not stopping here. I am reporting them to the BBB!!!

Basically the same as everyone else here. I am now following up with PayPal, while they are obviously trying to shrug me off.

I would like to add: I have experience very bad customer service from PayPal in the morning session. The agent named May was OK. (now thinking about it) She seemed to know there was a loop hole in their system so she insisted I get a proof from UPS the tracking number is not for me. I expressed to her I ordered a soundbar with the specific model number in the PayPal order record. It is well above 10lbs and the tracking number from the seller is for an item for 3.6lbs. Isn't this suspicious? (Knowing getting a proof from UPS for an item not for me will be equivalently difficult) Then I talked to her supervisor. At least May was trying to help. Her supervisor was trying to play completely under the table. He seemed to be taking down all the information. And said they will review it and make a decision. Then within 15 minutes, I received an email saying that the decision is not in my favor. And I should contact the seller at the following email address etc. I tried emailing the given email address. It is invalid. And when I log onto the resolution center, I saw the case closed (can not be escalated). They did not take down the information I told them at all. So bad!!!

Now I am wondering, who is making decisions on the cases? Even if it is a computer, shouldn't it at least check if the information they give out is fraudulent? It is as if PayPal is helping the scammer.

I then tried very hard to get the proof of delivery address for the tracking number is not for me at UPS. That was funny too. I talked to an UPS shop. They asked me to talk to UPS corporate. I called UPS corporate. They asked me to use online chat. I talked to online chat, they asked me to email to the fraud department. I emailed the fraud department, guess what, they ask me to forward to inquiry to PayPal, and ask PayPal to directly contact them.... This is a full circle. So ridiculous. I thought this should only happen in the communist countries (just a joke)...

Without much success, I called back to PayPal. This time, Kate was telling me there is some issue with the tracking number and they will refund me in one to three days. So the morning guys' are completely stupid or what? Such a waste of my time! I asked if she could send me a confirmation email. She agreed. However three hrs later, nothing arrived in my inbox. So I called again. Mark was more transparent with the issue, and offered similar promise as Kate did. Though I have not received any confirmation emails from PayPal yet, two agents promising to refund me in one to three days seems to have persuaded me to believe them this time.

Last words, PayPal only gives us the illusion that we are safe. PayPal is actually playing in the favor of the scammers due to the company's cowardice culture in some cases. After all, online transaction business is a so-called platform business and should only allow big players, at the size of the major banks, Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Maybe by not being big enough, PayPal is always worried about getting themselves into troubles. And as a result they are very passive in maintaining the due justice (sometimes very obvious) on their own platform.

Without PayPal, I would be more careful of online purchases, which is what I will do in the future.

I got scammed the same exact way!!! Shows delivered but never did...I have a security camera and people home at all times. They need to shut down this website ASAP!

This just happened to my fiance. Package was supposedly delivered at 12:12 PM yesterday, 5/23/18. First thing I did was head to the post office this morning, post master was very helpful. After 7 attempts to call the number listed on website and 2 emails that were returned later today, I called the bank, then called PayPal. My fiance's info was found and when I told the CSR at PayPal what had happened and that I had proof that the shipping info and tracking info for the actual package the tracking #'s were for (post master sent me a pic), then explained the phone # was a California # for a company based out of New York (all bogus info from 50flashsale.com's site) he told me that he would be sending the info from our purchase to PayPal's investigation team, letting them know that payment was received, however, the goods were not sent as stated,and we should receive an email within 24/48 hrs if they needed more information to do a refund to us for almost $200. If anyone else has this issue, call PayPal at 888-221-1161.....they've got an automated system that stinks, but just keep telling it that you need to speak with a customer service rep. If that fails, I know our bank said to let them know, that they'd be a last resort for trying to recover the money. I was totally upset about this whole thing, bc what he ordered was my birthday present!!!

I was also just scammed the same way. Paid for merchandise using PayPal, received a UPS tracking number, UPS customer service stated the merchandise was addressed to an entirely different address other than the address on the order or in PayPal, merchandise never received. Scammed out of almost $100 by 50flashsale.com. E-mail address listed on their website is fake. E-mails sent there are returned as undeliverable. Address of their 'fake business' listed on the website is actually a university campus building in New York per Google and not a business. Next step will be opening a police report as PayPal denied the claim for not receiving the merchandise for an unknown reason. PayPal call center staff did not understand what was going on, unaware that their company is participating in fraud. UPS and PayPal need to alert their staff that this is a currently active fraud/scam affecting multiple people. Per another website, the 50flashsale.com website has only been around for 16 days or so. Did anyone else find it curious that they supposedly shipped and delivered your items the same day per your 50flashsale order summary?! Impossible. Someone needs to lock these people up immediately!

UPDATED 5/31/18: Persistence appealing the denied claim via PayPal paid off without having to file a police report. First I had to contact customer service after it was denied, explain in detail this is fraud, then asked her to open the claim again as an Appeal. I then submitted/uploaded approximately 8 different screenshots of supporting documents as attachments to the claim file with text and arrows pointing to the applicable info: undeliverable e-mails from 50flashsale, screenshot of their website showing invalid/incorrect address (not a business), screenshots of this site and others saying it is a scam, e-mailed the UPS Fraud department (search Fraud on the UPS website) and received an e-mail back from them stating to direct PayPal to dispute the payment due to fraud, screenshot of the original order showing the order address, screenshot of the UPS Tracking Info Shipment Details panel showing it was not delivered to the address on the order, etc. They FINALLY issued a complete refund. What crappy customer service and a total crock of a website. I wish you all the best of luck and very sorry you all are having to go through this crap too!

Scam company. physical address is a hospital, emails get bounced back, cell phone appears to belong to someone else, UPS tracking number is bogus.
Sadly, Paypal seem to be complicit by not blocking this company despite repeated reports of the scam.

Scam Website - Purchased a circular saw on May 18 2017 from 50flashsale.com Website using PayPal. Received email notification from 50flashsale.com on May 23 2017 indicating the order had been delivered. I was at home working outside the entire day so I was certain no delivery attempt was made. I contacted UPS to research the delivery for the tracking number provided by 50flashsale and the UPS Customer Service rep indicated a package was delivered, but not to my address. Unfortunately, UPS would not tell me the address that had received the order. they said the shipper was out of Salt Lake City operating under a company name other than 50flashsale. 50flashsale.com phone number (949) 569-4371 has a constant busy signal day and night. Their email address admin@ 50flashsale.com bounced back as an deliverable email. See address info below.

I was just scammed the exact same way as described. UPS initially tried to act like is wasn’t their problem but finally they gave me the email to their fraud department. It is obvious UPS has been hacked since my tracking number was for a shipment going to the same zip as mine. UPS HAS A BIG PROBLEM AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED AND SHOULD NOT BE COMPLCIT! I’m thinking this may be a Homeland Security concern also!

I've finally had this resolved by PayPal. It appears that this is an elaborate scam. Do not purchase from "50flashsale.com". It is a total scam, you'll never receive your order. This is how I was able to fight this:

I called UPS. They told me that while the tracking number given to me was an actual tracking number to my town, it was not intended for me or my address that I gave 50flashsale. They sent me a document with the origin and delivery address that the tracking number was actually for.

I submitted this document along with my "order" invoice from 50flashsale.com. It showed the same (incorrect) tracking number and my address. This was proof to PayPal that I had been scammed as the seller could not come up with real tracking information.

When I was issued the refund through paypal, I was given the name of an actual person to which the money came from, not just "50flashsale.com". Also, it appears there is a legit gmail address tied to that account.

Scam website! Same as others describe. Tracking number is for a different name and address. Will file a police report and am working with PayPal and UPS to report fraud. If everyone here can contact PayPal on +14029352050 to demand they ban this scam vendor from using PayPal. Put them on notice that if they do nothing after receiving reports from many describing the same scam Mo, they are complicit in fraud!

This company’s a total scam,I wish I had looked into it before purchase. They had a fake UPS tracking number, disconnected phone number and phoney email address so no way to contact them. I disputed it wth PayPal. Hoping I get reimbursed

Do Not Buy from these scammers. This is website is not sending the "packages" to the address where they are supposed to go to. Do not trust it its not worth the headache

TOTAL SCAM. FRAUD!!! They offer "too good to be true" price and they definitely are. They give you a tracking number to UPS, It's marked delivered and nothing comes. Read all reviews on this and other sites. I have a complaint into Paypal, UPS and a dispute with my credit card company for an Apple Watch that was never received. When you contact admin@50flashsale the email comes back "not deliverable" DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RANDOM WEBSITE.

I've been scammed. They sent me a fake UPS letter with a tracking number that did not correspond to my name or address. Only same city. Never received the item. I wrote paypal about this but from reading other people's reviews, it doesn't seem like I'll be getting that money back.

Fraud . Web site looks lagitament . But it’s a scam. They send false ups. Tracking number to make you think your package is coming. Then on the day of delivery your left trying to contact them . My tracking number went to a business that gets a lot of packages. I finally got ups to give me the address to find out the tracking number did not even go to the items I ordered. And PayPal is a joke. Telling me to contact the seller when that’s the first thing I did . Still no package still no money back . $549.00USD

This company is a scam!! I never received my item. They gave me a fraudulent UPS tracking number that was from someone else's package. Wouldn't respond to any of my attempts to contact them. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Call PayPal and talk to someone in their claims department. I finally got to someone who looked at the delivery confirmation and saw It wasn't my address. He assured me I would get a refund. It hasn't happened yet, but he seemed pretty PO'd about the vendor.

SCAM!
Same MO as Kevin reported. They say the shipped but to a scammed UPS tracking #. Because UPS shows "Delivered" PayPal won't help. It took them about 2 minutes to deny my dispute.
Emails bounce. No phone number.

Order placed, given wrong tracking number, phoney business address and phone number. Will now contact PayPal to stop payment
