The buy fake review on Google. This company should be investigated by ofcome and trading standards. mis-selling contracts
Very disappointing experience with 5G Communications. We have disputed the charges and raised concerns through formal correspondence, but the matter remains unresolved. We have now received a substantial termination invoice of £32,000 that we also dispute.
We've been a customer of 5G Communications for around five years, and unfortunately our experience has gone from excellent to extremely disappointing.
Everything started well, but over the last few months we've experienced repeated billing issues, including invoices that we believe were incorrect and, on one occasion exceeded more than £800 in overcharges.
We raised these concerns and disputed the charges, but instead of properly investigating the issues, our business services were restricted after our Direct Debit failed on two occasions. Those missed payments were directly linked to the billing dispute and the overcharging issues we had already raised.
The restriction of our business phone lines had a significant impact on our company, affecting our ability to communicate with customers and causing disruption to our day-to-day operations. We repeatedly tried to resolve the matter with the company, but our concerns were not dealt with to our satisfaction.
As a result, we have commenced legal action to allow the courts to determine the dispute. Because legal proceedings are ongoing, I won't comment further on the merits of the case and will let the evidence speak for itself.
This review reflects our personal experience with the company. I would encourage anyone considering using their services to carefully review their contract terms and invoices and ensure they receive prompt and proper responses to any billing concerns. Ensure you check the invoicing portal against your contract, especially for the smaller fees which add up, such as call charges.
5G Have been amazing to be honest, our new phones and the service we recieved from Tom on the day of the install was second to none! Everything was explained clearly and the training was easy to follow and helpful.
We were with BT previously and they just don't care! Thanks for sorting everything out and saving us money! would 100% recommend.
Jay was excellent from start to finish. Communication was clear and professional, and the response time was impressively fast. Every issue I raised was understood immediately and solved efficiently without any delay. Jay showed strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving. I’m genuinely impressed with the speed, accuracy, and attention to detail—couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Highly recommended.
Started off ok but then went downhill rapidly. Even sent a debt collectors threatening letter before the invoice due date. What? The broadband worked half the time at best and communications were non existent. Please stay clear. This company should not be in business.
5g looks after our call system at work. I am the call centre. Over a month ago we had a complex issue with our call routing and Mr. Devon Marais from 5g spent until 02:30Am on Friday night (he finished his shift at 17:00) working on fixing our issue. Devon is very dedicated to his customers, hard working and always very kind and friendly. Thank you, Devon! You are a star!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please do not go ahead with 5G Communication. If I could give zero rating I probably would have. It is an absolute Rip Off. I had been a loyal Customer for 3 years. I signed a contract for around £46.49. Please understand that I had always paid double that amount of nearly £70-£95 every month. Also there are hidden fees such as when you have finished your contract with them even after your contract you have to inform them 3-months to cancel. Even if you are no longer in contract with them they would still add extra charges. They even charge you extra when your broadband has seized with them. In all honesty you are better off using Vodafone, BT or Virgin Media. 5G Communications even with the owner Matt is an absolute disgrace of a phone or broadband connection.
We have been a customer of 5G Communication in High Wycombe for over 20+ years. We have always found Sarah Eley the Credit Controller whom we deal with each month to be a very efficient, polite and extremely knowledgement and friendly individual. You should be proud to have Sarah working in your establishment as her customer service skills are second to none and she is absolutely great at her job - Well done Sarah
spent thousands with 5g over the years - counts for nothing when trying to end contract - they could not care less
have been with them for several years now and they never fail to respond quickly and always resolve issues. Very pleased we moved away from the bigger corporations such as BT and O2 who are faceless and non reactive
5gcomms also trade with their subsidiary company Infinity. My company incurred staggering costs for equipment and services over a 3 year contract, which is now obsolete, leaving us with another £1,900 to pay. Our telephone system basically consisted of a base station telephone in our office and one in our home just 15 metres away. The broadband service they supplied crawled along at snail-pace making for considerable difficulties to our business. My advice would be to keep clear of companies like Infinity and 5gcomms and just set up a VoiP based system yourself. It's easy, far far cheaper and technically far better.
Stay away!!
Signed us up to a three year deal just to have an extra line installed.
Shocking service!
Over a lengthy contract they charged us thousands of pounds for equipment that we were told later by an independent expert probably cost a few hundred pounds. They are now insisting on the return of old, obsolete equipment which does not match what we have and will charge us if we do not return the items. In fairness, I would say their equipment was reliable. We didn't have many occasions to require repair, so cannot comment on their service. I do feel though that we were ripped off and are continuing to be ripped off by them. Not sure if they have changed hands since we originally signed up, as all my recent discussions appear to be with a call centre in South Africa (I could be wrong). We now have a much better deal with another supplier.
An excellent service from Callum in the High Wycombe branch. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about phones, cables and how to fix tech faults, Callum was able to talk me through the quickest and most effective solutions to have as little impact on regular business. We were in communication for five days in total, but the engineer fixed the problem within a matter of hours without having to come to site.
Very happy - friendly and understanding service from Callum Bushay.
