Wrong item

Ordered online to make things easier, but they sent the wrong item. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it. Disappointing experience.

Extremely slow shipping

Extremely slow shipping. Ordered Monday and I'm invoiced close of business Wednesday and no tracking number issued. Most shops have two hour click and collect or same day shipping. You need to invest in a better system.

Very easy to deal with. Great selection of product in the website with all sizes available. Reasonable shipping and fast shipping. Definitely recommend recommended for people looking at any bike related product.

Great sales service

Great sales service, and great post sales service to back up.
Both sales and service have excellent communication skills, are very knowledgeable, professional and extremely efficient.
You feel you are in good and, most importantly, honest hands. Further, you don’t feel their friendliness is just a slick mask.
Sale was in 2024. Staff considered my needs thoughtfully, and suggested the perfect bike for me.
Service person,(recently), provided exact projected costs and explanations and despite being extremely busy, under the pump, even undertook some extra work that was needed then and there to save me an extra trip. Impressive.

Booked in a service at canon hill…

Booked in a service at canon hill 99bikes for a $45 gear adjustment and specifically said contact if you have any issues because my budget is $45. The guy servicing it then put a $45 cassette without consulting me. And I was forced to pay $90. Terrible store and rubbish customer service save your time and money and go somewhere else

Ordered Wahoo Bike stand/desk and it…

Ordered Wahoo Bike stand/desk and it has now been almost 2 weeks and no delivery. Contacted 99 Bikes 3 times and the only reply I get after 2 days each time is we are investigating the issue and will get back. In the meantime, I am at a loss as they have taken the payment and are least borthered to ensure the product is delivered to the customer.

Ordered a bike 22 days ago for click…

Ordered a bike 22 days ago for click and collect. The order said it would be 6-10 days. I have followed up with customer support after 15 days, they simply shrugged it off saying those are only guidelines. I followed up twice more and finally the bike arrived at the store awaiting assembly and they said with would be within 24 hours, that was 5 days ago.

I have relied on Open Run headphones…

I have relied on Open Run headphones for years. Eventually, they failed and I needed to replace them. I am thrilled with my Open Run headphones, especially for the price. They arrived sooner than expected as well, and they sound great.

We had a fantastic experience at 99 Bikes thanks to Rory! From the moment we walked in, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient as we explored our options for an electric bike. Rory took the time to understand our needs, explained all the features clearly, and gave honest, practical advice without any sales pressure. He made what could’ve been an overwhelming decision feel easy and enjoyable. Thanks to Rory, we left with the perfect e-bike and total confidence in our choice. Highly recommend asking for him if you're in the market—he’s a legend!

Not as good as their reviews

Not sure why they have so many great reviews. I have been trying to get an electric bike for nearly a monrh now. 99 bikes sucks you in by advertising bikes that are not available or simply don’t work. Then they try to upsell you to another bike that literally costs $1000 more. There is always some excuse and some delay. The bike I originally tried to buy is still being advertised on their website though it doesn’t work and apparently it is the only one in all of Australia! Still waiting on the upsell version from a different 99 Bikes store. Shoddy company with unethical practices. They really do not live up to their stellar reviews - at least not in Adelaide.
