Lowes sold me a used or demo Dishwasher for a new dishwasher

I purchased a dishwasher and microwave in April, 2026 and hired an independent installer. When he oven the dishwasher box and the hose hit the floor, water came running out. The installer told me there was no paperwork in the box and the dishwasher was either a demo or was used.
I called Lowes and told them what had happen and since I had paid for delivery and for an installer, I didn't want to return it but wanted them to issue credit on selling me a used appliance. The installer spoke with them by identifying himself and explaining what he found. The store refused to give me any type of consideration.
I returned the other appliance along with other items that I purchased from them totaling over $400. I had paid off the dishwasher and microwave. I will no longer shop at Lowes, and I would suggest others do not purchase any appliances from them because you may end up with a used or demo and paying full price. You will lose money because if you return the appliance, you will be out of the delivery fee and will still have to pay the installer. I suggest using another store period. If they will sell one used item, they will sell you another item. Apparently, they do not train their employees to not sell return or demo items as new or as is.

... another cancelled delivery from Lowe's…

I had yet another run-in with Lowe's terrible customer service. Like many times before they cancelled an order, many days after they received it, for unexplained reasons. This time, I ordered a product on July 3rd and scheduled the delivery for July 16th. On July 14th, they fully cancelled the order with no warning, no explanation, and no solution for replacement. It was up to me to spend hours on the phone to solve my calamity, after I spent nearly $10,000. Thankfully it was refunded and I can simply take it elsewhere, hopefully to a company that wants to serve it's customers with kindness.

When my wife came in looking for an ac unit Elena was on the "customer service" at front door she was rude and told us to find help and pointed. The idiot machines or self check out gal Jessi was able to look it up with no hesitation and a big smile took the time to joke with my wife and I even being as mad as we were got us a cart and made the experience there a 1 to a 5. You need to have more like her maybe your online score would be better.

Good luck getting help while in the…

Good luck getting help while in the store. We were ready to purchase a refrigerator, but after waiting an extended period with no assistance, we walked out. When we tried to buy the same item online, it showed as out of stock, even though we know that’s not accurate. I called the store and waited on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up.

I purchased a hot water heater from…

I purchased a hot water heater from Lowes, the hoy water heater is brought to my home by CRST which is some kind of dept Lowes uses to avoid responsibility for damages that (LOWES, CRST) contacted installer causes. I filed a complaint with LOWES on May 2, 2026 and after countless emails and numerous phone calls to and maybe 6 different CRST, LOWES representatives I have not gotten a definitive response. This claim is #39047289. The reason we use a big company is because we felt like there were fewer risks in being treated just as the way we have been jerked around. We are both in our mid 70s and come from an era where average people were treated in a fair manner. Extremely disappointed in the performance in LOWES after the installation. I have all emails and will produce them all and don't have a problem posting them all on line in the proper forum

I ordered a complete Kitchen Package

I ordered a complete Kitchen Package. What a Nightmare trying to get a hold of Customer Service. I recommend that you steer clear of Major Appliance purchase unless you are taking them Home from the Store. Horrible scheduling and worse trying to communicate with their automated system. Shame you Lowe's I really expected better.

delivered to a wrong address and made me pay for it.

I ordered several things from Lowes online because sore didn't have them. I had to pay for their delivery and they did deliver. Some of the items came to my address and the most expencive item went to another state. I called themand asked to deliver this item to me. Their answer was that they delivered. If I want this item I should pay for the item and for the delivery again.
Because I used their card, this card made it look as if they investigated but they concluded that because someone received this item, regardless I or someone else. I am responsible for this $632.49 charge.
So be aware before you use Lowes or their card. You are NOT protected. They steal, you pay

AI Phone Assistant is a terrible

AI Phone Assistant is a terrible, ridiculous circus. Absolute communication VOID!
Wasted almost an hour before being connected to the wrong person. We're transferring our building project from Lowe's to Citizen Building Supply. They have a Human assistant and answer their phone. Human help is essential.

Terrible delivery service and missing…

Terrible delivery service and missing refund! Avoid appliance shopping here Lowe’s store 1114 Chamblee GA
I bought a refrigerator here on June 14, and they completely failed to deliver it on June 20. Because they missed the delivery window, I cancelled the entire purchase that day. It has now been nearly a month, and I still have not received my refund. I had to file a formal dispute with my Lowe’s credit card just to get my money back. Absolutely terrible customer service and a complete lack of follow-through. Buy your appliances somewhere else.

Do not use PayPal as a payment method…

Do not use PayPal as a payment method on this (Lowe's) platform. You'll get multiple authorization stacking and wait for OTPs that never come. Save your frustration and pay by CC directly. If you use Affirm and cancel part of an order you will wait 3 weeks or more for them to notify Affirm of the cancellation and reduction of the cost of the order, meanwhile you are responsible for the entire amount of the original loan.

We made a order online and paid for it and we were going to drive an hour away to pickup thwy took my card said paid they turned around and canceled they 4k order now my customer says to wait they said capital one didn't clear the order and we have proof that it didn't and lowes took out the money and gave it back this is the 3rd time this has happened I plan to post this company on all sites they don't care about you as a customer

Lowe’s Foley AL

Ordered a item for pick up from the Foley AL Lowe’s. We ordered at 3:52 figured they don’t need the sales dollars not hearing anything from them we canceled the item at 5:27. Shouldn’t be that hard.

I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s

I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s, which was specifically for the garage and I read the specs which said it was appropriate for the garage. I have had problems with this refrigerator. It was replaced once. Now I’m having issues with this one.Lowe’s have been giving me the runaround. I do not recommend this company they do not solve issues. They make sure that the customer is not satisfied, but yet they keep our money. They have one of the worst customer service staff I have ever dealt with. I will no longer purchase any large appliances from Lowe’s. I have read over 700 reviews. I wish I would’ve read them prior to my purchases.

Customer service

Went to buy a laser tape measure today, but it was locked in a cabinet. I couldn’t find a single employee who could unlock it or help me get one. After waiting around, I finally gave up, went home, and ordered the exact same one from Amazon—for a few bucks less, no less.

Note to self: Don’t go to Lowe’s on a Sunday… even if the store looks completely deserted.

Selinsgrove Customer Service

I was at the Selinsgrove location returning a hose that broke within a week. Screw the hose, this review is about their employee dedication to service. My dumbass locked my keys in my car and one employee went out with me to try something (can't remember her name and I'm sorry for that) but when she couldn't help me out she called Carlos and that guy, Carlos, my guy didn't rest until he got my keys out. I'd have been totally screwed without him, cause when I f*** up, I do it in fantastic Godekian fashion; not only my keys but my phone was also locked in there. Thanks again Carlos!

Ordered a multi-application overhead…

Ordered a multi-application overhead microwave to be installed. Never heard from installer/ never was informed of a back order. Nothing was updated to online account either. Called to cancel then told Friday will be installed. Received several wrong install day notices and one stating Friday install to be between 1-5. On install day Friday at around noon, I saw where phone had blocked several SPAM calls so I called LOWES who says they are aware their installer shows as SPAM and that my install was for prior to 2 even though I had called them right away. Rep never even offered to call the installer! I asked for manager who refused to come to phone... just told them to cancel the order... service is so bad now... I NEVER want you to work for me again what if there is an actual issue????? They still have this outstanding charge on my credit card.

I had French doors installed at my…

I had French doors installed at my patio entrance on May 11,2026. After the install about 3-5 days later the door showed light where the two doors come together. The other side of door will not open the pin is stuck. I have gone through a lot trying to get this taken care of, numerous attempts, times and dates. It is July 10,2026 the installer was scheduled to be here between 1-3pm. No show, no call. I reached out to the Installation Team was put on hold only for them to tell me maybe his prior install ran over and that hopefully he show soon. Where is the CEO of this company ? Do you even care about the consumer who trust this company to do the job they are being paid to do. I truly need answers and I won’t stop until someone in upper management takes me seriously. Sorry for such a long rant but I’m just disappointed with Lowe’s
