Poor service/not responsive
Aaron Smith was hired to provide both photography and videography services for a wedding. While some photographs were eventually delivered, the video was never provided, and the photographs that were delivered were incomplete and disappointing.
A large portion of the wedding was left undocumented. Most guests were not meaningfully photographed, and there were only a limited number of reception photos of the couple. More importantly, there is no video of major moments from the day, including the walk down the aisle, the first dance, a parent-child dance, the vows, and other important memories that can never be recreated.
Several guests commented that Aaron appeared to be drinking, socializing, and focusing much of his attention on a small group of female guests instead of properly documenting the wedding. When the photographs were later reviewed, there appeared to be an unusually high number of images of that group, while many other guests and important moments were left out.
Over the following year, repeated attempts were made to contact Aaron and resolve the issue privately. Those efforts did not result in delivery of the missing video or any meaningful explanation, and more recent communications went unanswered.
This complaint is being posted so that other consumers, especially brides and couples relying on a professional to capture one of the most important days of their lives, are aware of this experience. Wedding photography and videography are not services that can simply be redone later. Once those moments are missed, they are gone permanently.
No bride should have to go through the disappointment of learning that irreplaceable memories from her wedding day were not properly captured.
